@ Phatboy45: Yes, I agree that this mod still has a need - Because Keen has yet to add all this (and other food mods) has to offer! And nobody seems to want to add them to the new blocks!

Just wondering, will a version be made that can work in Space Engineers 2?

I was looking for info on whether Plant & Cook and EDSR mods had been updated to work with Keen's new food mods, I suppose they haven't been yet.

I love this mod, with a slight change by making crops perishable and some types of the foods perishable while making fresh prepped food far more benificial than keens while keens food would not be perishable would allow this mod and keens to mesh nicely. Thus fresh cooked foods would greatly restore you but keens food would be good for long expeditions and storage. Just a thought.

Yes, recoding this to use Apex as a Dependancy/Framework - and then using ESDR/P&C Mods on top of the new Mechanic would be awesome! I may turn off Apex for now, until/if that happens!

This mod was superior in every way to the official mechanic. I accept if you don't feel up to recoding this mod and the Plant and Cook, but if you did I would definitely continue to use it.

yea, Made Dragon is correct, the Apex survival mechanics override those of EDSR but the UI is still showing ESDR so you can't see what Vanilla's food and sleep stats are. i don't know if ESDR food or Plant & Cook mods food satiate vanilla food. i don't think they would. i also agree that Apex is a step, but there is so much more in EDSR and Plant & Cook. i think i'll try turning APex Survival off and reactivate EDSR and P&C

I just want to say thank you for this mod, and its okay if you dont, but if you decide to keep on updating it I would love for it to continue, Apex survival is a step on the right direction but I feel its still lacking by far compared to this mod, I hope there is a way to make them work together like make the Apex framework work with this blocks and keep the thirst stat too.. anyway thank you for your work.

I've got this mod removed for my mod list and the avatar is floating like there is no gravity on the Earth like Planet.

It's the same with the saves also. Very buggy.

Apex survival update has ruined this mod. All hunger stats just show 0 and no effects apply.

this causes crashes related to nullrefs caused by not being able to load certain resources, I own all the required DLC for this, anyone got a clue?

Is the Emergency Ration Production Unit block only small grid?

So, none of the stats wre showing on my side panel, I can drop a mod list of that helps, I do think it might be due to Survival Impossible

It's the grenade mod, I can't explain it beyond that disabling it corrects the bug.

Eating food in beds, flight seats etc, still leaves the item unconsumed despite the bars filling up. It is quite an exploit of a bug. This doesn't always happen though. I think one of my mods sets this off I just haven't been able to isolate it.

looking forward to seeing if this mod gets updated to make use of the new DLC blocks (Contact DLC).

so small thing but i noticed that if you use this with Better stones it just replaces all stone with organic material

i can't change the iron what you for water i whatn to use only ice or ice and gravel and not iron how is it posible to change that ??

Recently having CTD's when killing wolves with guns both modded and vanilla including turrets. disabling this mod stops the CTD.

add a chat command that turns off the need to eat sleep and drink

@herboren lack of sleep can kill a person IRL because sleep is when the brain and body take the time to defrag and remove uselss/irrelevant data. not sleeping can eventually lead to a build up of problems such as hallucinations, severe changes in mood, and can even cause physical problems such as diabetes and heart desease due to the fact the brain has not entered its rest cylce and is now improperly handling bodily functions such as the removal of waste from bodily systems. these things can build up over time which can lead to blockages and eventual death. if you dont believe me google it.

I really enjoy this mod, but I fail to see how sleep kill you. I would think lack of sleep would cause the body to work harder to replenish lack of utilize nutrients by utilize more hunger and thirst, but to kill you? Perhaps this can be reworked to changing the functionality of sleep killing you to expending more hunger and thirst due to lack of sleep.

Only Emergency Food and Mineral Water are produced in the Emergency Food Production Unit. Why don't the others come out? Coffee and chips do not come out. Where will I produce?

Am I just dense, or does this not add anything to the HUD to let you know how you're doing in terms of food, water, sleep?

save broken today. consuming any item (water, roast meat) starts to kill me. I can get every stat up to 100 and just keep taking damage permanently if I consume anything. survival.

So can we have an update so that people don't die from hunger/water in cryo pods / rooms?

I can't cooking nothing cause i can't connect kitchen and i can't put items manually in kitchens inventory.
How connect the Kitchen, please?
