Read the mod description, this is used as a companion for profiling branch when data changes are needed. Currently there are no data changes.

So this mod contains nothing...? I dug around the files and it there is nothing but a config.cpp (with nothing in it really), and a stringtable (with nothing really in it).
Like many many people out there, I am looking for ways of boosting the strangely low performance of arma. So is this mod supposed to be a joke or experiment or something?

i believe this broke the debug console in eden editor for me, taking this off seems to have fixed it

You usually don't want profiling.
Profiling branch contains profiling AND performance builds.
You usually don't want to profile, so the performance exe is default.

I noticed that with the steam profiling branch's launcher, it doesn't actually start the arma 3 profiling exe but the normal exe? Is this by design since the launcher itself says profiling on it?

so since last update for some reason for example the option to make any container a full arsenal is not showing up when i try to make custom assets in the editor
do i need od download something extra or i missing something
i still got the profiling version or the game

They do. But scripts need to be whitelisted on the server you are playing on.

Looks like I not correctly asked, in short - is safe to load this mod in regular build? I understand - mod will not implement it's functionality in that case, but will it produce some harm or just nothin will changed?

It just won't do much without profiling build. Because most of the script/config changes add entries that only the profiling build will use

Can I load it in regular build? I don't expect it will do it's job at non "perf_prof_" build, just want to know, can I load it to regular build and have not some unwanted effects? It is because of players of my dedicated server loads game (and mods) by one same script but not all of them use "performance" build.

What Swift said. I'm totally fine and encourage you to keep scripts out, but please consider full vehicle customization implementation, at least if it should be possible with vehicle garage.

Would be appreciated if you refined the public server compositions to include vehicle changes like camo/slat armor like the guy below was talking about. I understand why you wouldn't want people attaching scripts to objects and then importing them in with compositions on official servers, but maybe you can refine the filter to include stuff like camo/slat armor?

Hey Dedmen! So i use this mod for pub zeus beacuse it helped out a lot but i have a problem.When i spawn a vehicle with add-ons like Camo/Shields/No doors sometimes they don't work and sometimes they do.Most of the time they don't work.May u please help then?

its a "companion" mod, so you also need the profiling branch.
Profiling branch and google drive/dropbox are the same thing. Steam branch is preferrable

I've read but am still confused; If I get this, does it eliminate the need for me to get the exe packs from Google Drive / Dropbox ? Or do I need to wait for GD / DB updates?

It will run optimized bytecode scripts, so yes it could have a performance improvement.
-serverMod is probably better, as -mod would recommend your players to load it, which doesn't make sense for them if they are not running profiling branch

Ah, I figured the error message was semi-intentional/unavoidable for the devs after someone had replied to my report on the feedback tracker saying it was normal and harmless.

I'm still wondering though, is there any advantage to running this mod on a server running on performance branch? If there is any performance increase, should I put it in "-serverMod=" or "-mod=" or does it even matter?

Would be very helpful because things as new webcams or USB devices like to become the standart output. Also it would make the life a little easier for streamers. Anways, the one option has already been helpful!
