I have those in my back-garden here in Belgium and there are a lot scattered around, indeed beautiful trees. Good job on recreating them

Horse Chestnut is very common for native Kievaners, as myself. There was a lot of this trees at the streets, avenues, microrayonnes, etc. of my city. Horse Chestnut was a true symbol of Soviet Kiev, he was pictured at Kievan Coat of Arms at those times. My mother was born in first half of May, and she likes Horse Chestnut, because his flowering period in Kiev belongs to the first decade of May. I'm very pleasured to see in Steam Workshop common tree for my soul. Thank you very much. I'll use it in my own Kiev map.

Nice tree! Would you like to make a Castanea sativa (sweet chestnut) and/or a Chamaerops humilis (European fan palm)? Thanx in advance

@claus_liberg there are many decorative versions of this tree with different colors of flowers like creamish, red, pink etc. as this tree is widely used in city decoraction, at least in Eastern Europe

Sorry but apparantly one can not edit messages here. Another common name for the tree in southern California is also Ficus Nitida. Thanks again :)

Maybe I should specify a bit, because I guess the tree I mentioned can be found in different sizes and be a bit wild grown or more cut. I wish for the Los Angeles type, the one that is maintained, reminds about a mushroom in its form, and looks perfect in streets and boulevards. Thanks!

This one is supernice, and great to have in cities! Superb job! Can you consider making a tree called Indian Laurel fig, or Ficus microcarpa? It also goes under other names, and can be found in tropical Asia, Australia, South America but also other places in south Europe and the sunny states of North America. In Los Angeles it is a very common tree along boulevards and avenues, and is just a cool and very beautiful tree that makes the streets looks greener :)

Thanks everyone!
@PianoMan023 The Horse Chestnut and Buckeye are actually closely related. Both are in the Aesculus family
PixelBimbo Jun 30, 2020 @ 5:44am
I'm from Ohio, and I've been looking for a tree like this (just a hair away from our Buckeye trees) for so long! Thank you!

Thank you for making these trees. They look amazing. When they flower in spring here in Denmark, thats my favorite time of the year.

Looks really good!! So much attention to detail..

Many of the oldest neighborhoods in Seattle have these lining the main streets. They're kind of a problem as they have destroyed the sidewalks. If you're doing a Seattle/PNW build, these are a must.
smioreun Jun 28, 2020 @ 9:36pm
We have them here in the Eastern US (Mid-Atlantic) also... and we have a rather adult in nature alternate name for them... regarding the odor of the flowers. Nice to see these here... LOL
Rooster Jun 28, 2020 @ 7:08pm
