Also, yadda, yadda, 1.4, etc, etc...
@Red Horizons - Today I'll post a quick update so it will (mostly) work in 1.3. Then, let me take a few weeks to let all the other flooring mods update to 1.3 then I'll do some updates and add Alpha Biomes for ya.
@Yrol - You're absolutely right, and I will try to migrate to using Published File ID instead. I can't remember what problems I had when I tried that before (maybe didn't work with 1.1 or older versions or something), but I'll try to fix it up soon.
Enjoy!
In the about.txt of the Mod "[T]MoreFloors", i changed
<name>[T]MoreFloors</name> to
<name>More Floors</name> so it is more coherent and
better sorted with RimPy. ( I use Local Mods only )
Now THIS mod does not work anymore with THAT Mod.
( I fixed the problem by changing THIS mods patch reference
to match my changes )
But... Would it not be much better if Mod Creators would use
<Operation Class="PatchOperationFindMod">
with the Published File ID instead of the ModName?
( I do not know if it does work, maybe it was just more convenient
for you to refer to the mod to be patched by name )
Thanks!!
The defs aren't just what is in /Defs/ThingDefs_Buildings/Terrain_Floors_Synthylene.xml? That's... disappointing, but thanks for looking into it at least.
Unfortunately, I was unable to add a patch for Rimefeller. I believe it adds its floors dynamically using C#, so I can't modify their definitions in the XML stage.
i have loads mods but none do what this mod does. there are some extra floors from mods like rimkea, alpha, biomes and others (but im not using them atm the ones i tried where fine).
I use a green world mod, basicly a reskinn of the soils (and those work fine with your mod)
Fluffy stuffed floors.. but that just handles menues and stuff
Desire paths, makes grassy soil turn in to harden dirt when walked on often. (works fine too with your mod)
Idk what els it could be. Ill just finises this game and see if i can narrow it down by taking some mods out. Dont know when that will be
Might also try unsubscribing from this mod, then resubscribing. Or try the manual download and install the mod that way.
i did double checked if it updated properly.

Idk where to look for a mod version. its not in de description of FF or your mod.
But his mod is updated on 3.19.22 XD acording to the ingame mod details.
all other soils are fine even modded ones like from alpha biomes.
Its only gravel and tilled soil.
The flooring is bleeding on those with
-slabs from [T] MoreFloors
-Chequerd slabs, Flagstone, hexagonical tiles from vanilla
But not (does make a clean cut edge) with sterile tiles or carpets from vanilla.
Maybe its the stuffing floors incombination with those soils that messes things up? idk
I did a quick little test run with just Fertile Fields [1.1] and this mod, and everything seems to be working for me - Gravel and Tilled Soil go "under" the hard edge of man-made floor tiles. Could you double-check your mod versions for me? If that doesn't fix it, let me know exactly what floor tiles are involved so I can dig in and figure it out. I may have missed some new or updated terrain definitions or something like that. Thanks!
Its gravel and tilled soil are bleeding into man made floors. Vanilla or modded. :S
It seems to be fine with rich soil.
I do have this mod under these other two
Project Rimfactory Revised. It has the same two striped tile floors as the Floored mod, and overwrites those ones when it is installed.
- Caution Tiles [1.0+]
- Floored [1.0+]
- Floored - Yellow and Striped Tiles Only [1.0+]
Very happy for this version. I love me a crisp edge but don't like the natural stuff being so formal.
Thanks much..! Cheers..!
