Description
Allows building floors out of stuff*.



You can safely add this mod to you save games, but you can not remove it from save games. (If you really must do this, you'll have to remove all built stuffed floors added by this mod first).



This mod does two things. First, using Architect Sense it provides a framework for modders to define their own stuffed floor types. Second, it uses this framework to create a number of new floors that are stuffed.

For players
Adds several new floors, and existing floors from Telkir's More Floors, CuproPanda's Extra Floors[ludeon.com] and Pravus' Fences and Floors in all types of stone, metal, wood.

Works great with other mods that add more resources, e.g. Minerals and Materials Kura's Extra Minerals, Extended Woodworking, Vegetable Garden and GlitterTech.

This mod also organizes and where needed, removes non-stuffed versions of the floors added by RimWorld, More Floors, Extended Woodworking, Minerals and Materials, GlitterTech, More Furniture, Vegetable Garden, and Floored.

Other mods can easily add more floors using existing materials, or completely new types of materials.

For modders
Adds a custom FloorTypeDef that derives from TerrainDef, and allows modders to create floortypes by setting a texture and a list of stuffCategories to generate terrain defs for. Removing now obsolete terrainDefs and/or architect categories is also easily handled. See GitHub[github.com] for a guide on using Stuffed Floors in other mods.



While this mod will happily generate more floors for any mods that add materials to the metallic, stony and/or woody stuff types, it only cleans up the floors added by mods that are explicitly supported. Any other mods that add floor types may appear as duplicates. If you encounter such an issue, please let the author(s) of said mod(s) know so that they can correctly set up their designator groups!

Hey Fluffy! You should change the Metal Grating to have a lower filth multiplier rather than cleanliness - makes a lot more sense for the floor and would be really beneficial in defenses to have a nonflammable floor that accepts less filth.

Fuel puddles are filth, so they'll slip right through the grate reducing the amount of fire my poor defenders have to deal with! :D

Would it be possible to make the added floors from the newest Vanilla Furniture Expanded mod fully stuffable? Their texture is nice but as nice as they look not having as many options with them as what your mod provides really makes them unappealing in comparison!

About the mudstone cobble everywhere reported by Son of Man and imperfectionistimp: I have that too. It is not random however. It specifically replaces ALL stony soil on maps that were generated before adding this mod. Only Stony soil seem affected and it only converts it to mudstone cobble... Which is a tragedy because it makes the affected map look absolutely atrocious, quite the opposite of what this mod otherwise does!

Oh, and while I'm here, it also doesn't remove the 3 variations of the vanilla wood floor added by Architect. It is rather funny however as it properly removes the original wood floor, only the other variations added by Architect are still present. Tried messing with load order to see if it would change this, but seemed to not effect anything. Again however, minor and ignorable.

I saw it was already mentioned by @Laddeus but there is a minor bug between this and the newest Vanilla Furniture Expanded mod. In Architect it adds 3 varieties to all the wood structures/floors that are just pure visual variety since they all only use wood, no new materials. However, while these varieties are detected and applied to stuffed floors wooden counterparts, the game says that these floors require "birch, walnut, mahogany" to build, where as these resources do not actually exist. So I was wondering if there is an easy way to fix this having no rimworld mod experience or at the very least put the feedback here if it's an easy change for the mod maker itself. Either way it's pretty minor since it is ignorable but I was looking forward to even more floor variety :)

Am I correct in assuming, that the Silver Metal Plates replace the Vanilla Silver Tiles? because I think the Silver Metal plates do not count as being fine as the Vanilla ones do.
