@jakaria Hey could i talk to you sometime about an addition to the weather system i think you might be interested in. Nothing to do with this mod but a new mod i've been trying to figure out how to make but i'm no programmer

Nick C-137, I feel your pain but I've found a solution. Go to this link and follow the step by step instructions on how to disable the weather system in your server.

Note: I have a GTX server not a Nitrado server but it worked just the same. If you need help connect with me and i'll walk you through it.

No I don't agree, this isn't obsolete. My server is being thrashed by lightning storms that are making the game unplayable. I wish I could replace the new system with this one that actually works.

Does anyone have experience using this on a dedicated server. The world I’m planning will have one snow covered planet that I want to be in a near perpetual state of ‘foglight’.

Is this likely to be a resource hog / add lag?

Some people are pretty convinced Keen is the scum of the earth. They talk about KSH with the same vitriolic spew people used to talk about EA (and still do, to some extent).

I think the reason why this still works is that keen literally just copy pasted it into the game itself, thus showing that they sort of reposted this mod for their own gain, claiming it as their own. I don't see the creators of this getting any sort of the income, which is unfair.

I really do hope this gets picked up again. KSH is absolutely useless bar keeping SE bugs away.

And they still struggle with that task to boot.

No roll back, have Frostbite, working 100% fine for me on all my modded and vanilla planets

ive not rolled back and its still working for me in 194, maybe having the frost dlc breaks it not the update since i dont have the dlc.

i also tryed using the links Jakaria gave first and i couldent get them to work for me, not sure if i did something wrong or my games diffrent

ether way im happy i can still have my sand storm ^_^

This mod still fully works on version 193.
and it's super easy to roll back to that version ...
just sayin' ...

Still pretty lame what Keen did though.

Ofcurse the Mod is the better version of the new Update.
So could you please still update this mod? Since keen is to stupid to do anything?

Omg i just found this and it stop`d working , im gutted , i havnt got to grips with keens standerd version and its limited at best. amazing mod shame i never got to have a go using it. xx look forward to future projects x

Well, I hope that they change how the mod works.
Everytime you look at a window block, no matter where you place it, you get the weather effect. Even inside an airpressurized room.

While the mod in its current state might be obsolete, I think the ideas for the future listed here are still very much relevant. The way keen implemented weather is not enough, we will definitely need a configurable random weather system in the future. Hopefuly someone will rise to the occasion :)

just remove your snow and fog weathers so the ones in the game still work and then the extras are just like an addon, unless that cant be done
