which mods are you guys using that conflicts with this one?
Sir Bon 12. März um 22:15
Alright, thank you
XpanD 8. März um 14:48
Grab an older build from one of the archive sites if this build doesn't work, worked for me.
Sir Bon 8. März um 13:23
Came to report an aim bug but it seems y'all beat to it. Time to wait for the fix I guess. Thank you in advance, amazing mod by the way. This should be base game fr
XpanD 27. Feb. um 0:07
Don't have that one here. Believe the (old?) issue was from mods shipping an outdated XModBase, and load order shenanigans causing that to clobber a change this mod needed. Not 100% on that (and also not sure on the current status, as I reverted to an older build myself), but yeah.
Sniffy 26. Feb. um 18:20
The bug where you get an aim boost is caused by Classless XCOM: MINT. At least that's what caused it for me.
XpanD 26. Sep. 2024 um 8:09
Nope, hoping others will have more ideas there.
Andrei Cineva 26. Sep. 2024 um 7:57
I see. Any idea what I should be looking for then?
XpanD 26. Sep. 2024 um 7:42
Had a look -- that array seems to be for character templates (so stuff like specific enemy/unit types), not class templates. Unsure how you'd go about doing it otherwise, though there's probably a mod for it out there somewhere.
Andrei Cineva 26. Sep. 2024 um 7:20
How can you render one particular soldier class immune to Red Fog? I tried just adding it in the config, like it was the case with the Chosen and the Boss units, but it doesn't seem to work.
Like so:

+arrImmuneToRedFog=FTB_Blutengel

That is the class name, I've taken it from the mod in question. What am I doing wrong?
ORN (She/Her) 20. Sep. 2024 um 14:48
i also have the am bug. feels bad.
steamt 13. Sep. 2024 um 11:24
Confirming aim bug as well.
F1 shows it properly, in my case 71-13
but then shot HUD has red fog adding the new aim of 58 rather than subtracting 13

Tried the Beta Highlander, no change
walan 8. Sep. 2024 um 11:35
I also have the aim boost bug
RedDobe  [Autor] 29. Aug. 2024 um 4:59
Dang I might have to revert the latest patch then. In my tests it worked fine, but again the load order of mods who haven’t updated Xmodbase are preventing highlander updates from applying.
bmMartins 23. Aug. 2024 um 15:39
I also confirm the aim boost bug.

I'm also using Extended Information AND the BETA XmodBase. It still gives me the same aim boost bug though.
RedDobe  [Autor] 15. Aug. 2024 um 5:03
It is something to do with load order and other mods that use older versions of Xmodbase. I probably need to make the new beta version of Xmodbase a hard requirement.
XpanD 14. Aug. 2024 um 10:14
I also had the weird aim boost issue, but going back to the 18th of March 2023 build (Skymods) seems to have fixed it. (wanted to keep using percentages so tried that first)

Not sure why the newer builds are so weird for, apparently, only a few of us? Could be that others just aren't reporting it, but yeah.

(still adore this mod, it's an absolute must for any run I do)
ArnNied 26. Juni 2024 um 7:51
Yea the percentage on aim/offense is really messed up. I just got back to XCOM 2 and I was messing around with the .ini before reading your updates and updated description. It was working with the bug (adding a bonus instead of a penalty), but now it's just crashing my game. I even cleaned my mod config folder (the one in my "Documents/My Games/...") a couple times but it's still crashing. Had to disable this mod for now, or maybe use an integer instead of a percentage (not my cup of tea) down the line.

Is there any way for me (or us) to use an older release instead? I remembered this working flawlessly (as far as I can tell) like on January the last time I played it. Since the update at 24 February is what probably caused it to start bugging.

I don't think steam support "releases" like nexusmods or github.

@basilbattery
Damage one of your troopers with a grenade, does their Aim go down?
basilbattery 10. Juni 2024 um 13:03
How can understand in game interface that this mod is working? Any info or sign of it for my team and enemy?
HaziTru 16. Mai 2024 um 2:07
Okay thank you
RedDobe  [Autor] 15. Mai 2024 um 15:22
The bug only has to do with aim. Everything else can use a percentage.
HaziTru 15. Mai 2024 um 13:01
@Dragon32 Okay ill change the ini thanks for your help. So i just false everywhere there is bPercentage?
Dragon32 15. Mai 2024 um 12:35
@HaziTru
Read that whole section, it sounds like you've another mod overriding the GetHitChance function in X2AbilityToHitCalc_StandardAim. Try using a grep tool on your mods folder. Or just change this mod's .ini
HaziTru 15. Mai 2024 um 9:10
@Dragon32 No I am not, I just confirmed again. One of my soldiers got +53 aim and had 100% hit chance on everyone once wounded same for the AI.
Dragon32 15. Mai 2024 um 7:55
@HaziTru
Are you using EU Aim Rolls? I thought an update to that mod had fixed that. Try the Known Issues workaround.
HaziTru 14. Mai 2024 um 17:58
I noticed a bug, one of my soldiers was hurt and her aim dropped to 58, but it gave her plus 58 aim...
Dragon32 14. Mai 2024 um 10:28
@Dęąth Viper
Doesn't LWotC already have a Red Fog mechanic? Maybe as a Second Wave option?
Dęąth Viper 14. Mai 2024 um 7:35
Does this work with LWOTC? Didnt see any info in the comments or description
RedDobe  [Autor] 24. Feb. 2024 um 18:33
@jahainha - I am pretty sure that you can exclude characters, but I can’t recall if I added that.
jahsinha 24. Feb. 2024 um 14:32
Welp.
Dragon32 24. Feb. 2024 um 10:13
@jahsinha
I think you'd need to get the SDK and re-write the mod.
jahsinha 24. Feb. 2024 um 9:38
@RedDobe - Is there anyway for me to configure this to trigger only for specific enemies? For example, I only want red fog to take effect for enemies IF they lose a Commander or souped leader enemy. Similarly, if I lose say, an "Officer" from Abizi's mod then it triggers. But I don't wan it as just a standard effect for Xcom and Advent.
LeyShade 15. Jan. 2024 um 22:52
@RedDobe - Thank you for clarification =)
RedDobe  [Autor] 15. Jan. 2024 um 15:36
@LeyShade - I don’t have this setup for second wave.
LeyShade 10. Jan. 2024 um 3:20
@RedDobe - What's the secondwave template name for using with the auto-set configuration =)
mikolaj.konarski 16. Sep. 2023 um 17:38
Oh, I see, no worries. Thank you.
RedDobe  [Autor] 14. Sep. 2023 um 18:40
The problem is with perfect information. It doesn't have the highlander fix implemented for any multiplicative hit modifiers. It is purely a UI error.
mikolaj.konarski 12. Sep. 2023 um 11:08
First, thank you for the mod. I have a problem and perhaps somebody has a quick solution (disclaimer: I'm playing with lots of mods). I noticed that Advent Troopers with half the hitpoints have ~80% chance to hit my soldier, while fully healty troopers have 19% chance to land, with exactly the same distance, cover, etc.
Dragon32 12. Aug. 2023 um 19:13
@HaziTru
What's wrong with it? And if it's created by another mod wouldn't that other mod be the logical place for a fix?
HaziTru 12. Aug. 2023 um 17:36
Any way to fix the fly over from extended information?
RustyDios 17. März 2023 um 4:00
Redfog can appear as an XCOM row /AWC perk
@RedDobe I've sent you a DM on discord to discuss this :) ((and how to fix))
RedDobe  [Autor] 8. Sep. 2021 um 8:17
I didn’t realize that will loss already happens for Xcom injuries. But what about enemies and third parties?
Zigg Price 7. Sep. 2021 um 17:30
The base game already reduces Will for being damaged/shot/shot at. Is there a reason to have Will in Red Fog configs, anymore, other than just wanting to make things harder?
RedDobe  [Autor] 4. Sep. 2021 um 8:30
@XpanD - Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear!
XpanD 26. Aug. 2021 um 13:15
Just finished a campaign with about 280 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up, glad to see an implementation of this for XCOM 2.
Nemo Jr. 7. Juli 2021 um 17:23
Aww that's a bummer, but thanks for letting me know.
I'm sure I'll beg bg to add it in the near future x)
RedDobe  [Autor] 7. Juli 2021 um 17:02
And one other thing Nemo. Since you are using EU aim rolls the bonus aiming angles for all units won’t work even if set to true. That mods MCO will take priority because of the way it is overridden. Bg would have to add the option in his mod.
Nemo Jr. 7. Juli 2021 um 16:53
Thanks! Will do.
RedDobe  [Autor] 7. Juli 2021 um 16:31
@Nemo JR. - yes they should be compatible now if he has the latest highlander fixes. it’s a percentage of the base stat. If you used .3 and the stat is 10, then it would range from 10-3 with 3 being the most severe red fog. Red fog would not affect the other stat modifiers that you mentioned. I don’t know if flanking crit chance works. I know crit chance does.Try it and see.
