It's not updated for the new AK content yet, but maybe I'll manage to add some stuff today after work...
I even wrote a mod manager back then.^^
Started to revive it some time ago, for it contained some features not covered by the new ingame manager and there are some features the new one lacks - but due to RL needs much more time than I anticipated...
I'm definitely downloading this. It looks awesome.
The mod management was much different before the FE release. AoE used steams old API before and overwrote actual game files by applying a mod. That way each new file for example just stayed - and for modding often required adding new files, many mod contents stayed until removed manually or through a mod management tool.
Looks awesome!
But you can find the AoE folder pretty easy by right-clicking on AOE in your steam library. Can't say which entry it is exactly (I'm at work right now) - but there is an entry that says something like 'open game folder'.
From there on you just need to delete the AoE\data\slp folder.
After this verify your game cache and everything is gone. :)
My rating is 4,5 out of 5
Really sorry for that. :(
I'll work on that after releasing the first beta - hopefully this weekend.

But after doing so I realized there would be a problem with a summer pack for example.
Without changing the games mechanic there would always be snow on buildings on snow maps, even when changing all terrains to non snow ons.
For that reason I decided to do climatic packs instead of seasonal packs.
Until now I did a desert pack and a jungle pack.
All of these themed packs can be found in this collection:

But what about some slight changes to my winter pack and doing a christmas one?
And in case you have some specific in mind that would be cool - every hint is appreciated. :)
Indeed it's thought with using the water effect (which is included). But it's less visible for the different colors. -> The more diverse the water is, the less visible is the water effect.
At first I wanted to directly implement the lava. I just feared it would be too red in the end - therefore the trees aren't colored in red like burning, but in dark/black.
One thing I did observe is that the water doesn't look that great if you have 3D water off, but I got around that by adding adding your lava pack after this one. They fit very well together.
Glad you like them.
Oh, and thanks for Warcraft 3 soundtracks)
