And to drill only given area?
Once salvage operations were complete, I used the fill mode to restore the landscape to roughly what it was before the salvage operation.
I ended up with 5+ LCC's full of stone once the landscape restoration was complete.
Is there a reason why it uses significantly less stone the fill the hole that it dug?

Quick and easy positioning of the DnF bots to a GPS location!
HOW to get the GPS locations FAST? Use my new Drill=>HERE! script (just released!)

Get GPS coordinates to deploy drills!
"on different asteroids" - great, if within range (see @andywht comment, which is exactly my test results {'reliable up to ~3km, "works" up to 4 - after that.....'})
"on a turret" - WHY? the bots can be positioned directly.
Use https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2321343808 and just a tiny bit of engineering, you have what you asked about.
Use my https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2861428091 and make PATTERNS
Better labeling is needed for the mod. The settings are clear as mud.

Generally good and correct, however, it is clear you don't understand how to configure the drill...
Referencing your numbers:
2. No, it will drill from 'farthest' or 'nearest' depending on your setting. It is true it is not a 'surgical block' (read some very old comments on the original authors WS to learn why this "SE Physics" problem exists)
3. No, it searches for whatever is in the list and gets a 'hit' - again, see #2 for what is picked.
4. Yes, if you set it to 'Drill', you will DRILL everything. If you set it to 'Collect', you will only COLLECT those ores in the list.
8. any drill will fill the storage if you let it. Use Collect to limit it. Also, see my script called Supply Lines, which stops filling your base with ores.
1. As of when i wrote this the mod works fine with only a few quirks that i could find
2. when you turn on the drill it will start drilling from wherever the center of the affected area is and there is no way to change that.
3. it will search first for whatever ore is at the top of the priority list then go on to the next one if it cant find any in the area
4. even if you disable stone in the mining menu it will continue to mine stone if nothing else is available to mine
5. Depending on your settings when you set up the world one drill can probably support 2 or more refineries equipped with 4 yield modules as long as it is always mining
6. I highly recommend using nanobot build and repair with this mod (as of writing this it also works fine)
7. you must build a basic refinery at least once to unlock the drill system
8. this thing can and will fill up all your storages with stone if you let it run long enough
I'm playing coop with someone and I can't see voxel changes without reloading"
I'm having the same issue. I tried looking to see if anyone else created a newer or updated version of this mod with no success.
Someone did with the nano build and repair system mod though with a seamless transition.
