I was waiting for all this mod's dependencies to get updated. I thought it would take a few months but Bad Hygiene and War Crimes Expanded is already updated. Guess I should start working on it. I'm glad people still play this mod because tbh it was the most refined, complex and sophisticated mod I ever made.

This getting removed from mainstream search is a greater injustice than anything I've ever done in my torture room in Rimworld.

The 1.5 version is out now. I removed Achivements Expanded because I don't use that mod myself anymore, maybe I'll add it back if peopl want it. In exchange for not re-implementing achievements, I added poop vents and poop medicine to make up for it. Enjoy.

Also, consider joining the discord where it's easier to report and talk about poop mod bugs.

meh, I got so pissed off at how hard it is to compile rimworld mods without windows that I figured it out through sheer spite. This mod might be next, but I fully expect to have to work hard for getting the dubs bad hygiene integration to work again.

I used to develop RImworld mods using Monodevelop on Ubuntu. Then they made Ubuntu cost money and started making it everything worse. Now I use Void Linux.

sorry I wish I could. I won't use windows, monodevelop only works on a select few distros and I don't want to reinstall my os just for that. Unless someone can provide me whatever msbuild or dotnet-build commands it takes to manually compile a Rimworld, mod, we're all shit out of luck.

Since this is such an impossible thing to figure out, if anyone posts the actual answer, I'll update any mod of your choice within reason.

I like this mod as it is, but I think it would be even better if it came with a toilet of some kind, just so that pawns don't have to poop in random places. Ideally some kind of latrine that can be emptied, so that the turds can be retrieved and used as desired. I'm aware that DBH provides toilets for pawns to use, and I have nothing against that mod, but I'd really like to see this mod have the potential to be standalone.
That said, great work so far. = )

With DBH support, instead of dropping unique turds, why not just replace all of the Recipes and stuff with Raw Sewage?

I do have the sliders turned down. I more rather want the ability to disable the animals, poop monster, buildings, clothing that's a part of this. like, essentially i just want the real poo and not the fantasy stuff. thanks for your time XP!

Take a look at the settings menu if you haven't already. I believe there already exist settings to make it less "poopy" if that's what you want, it's just that the settings menu workshop screenshot on here is probably out of date.

There is a slider for poop commonality. Slide that all the way to the left. Buildings, furniture, apparel or any craftables made out of poop will almost never spawn. Next, slide the poop biome occurrence to zero. This will make world poop biomes never spawn. You should never see poop in large quantities once you do this.

hey long time enjoy-er but i have a suggestion: perhaps a trait or gene that stops a particular pawn from pooping? idk maybe you can do it to go along w metabolism or just a trait that does no poop for that pawn? but anyway thats my too cent thanks for listening P.S i apologise for my poor English, im not from a non English speaking country im just shit at it.

It's only been 2 hours since my last post and I already have things mostly working. I can get to the the main menu and start a game with or without Bad Hygiene and no red errors or crashes happen. The only bug I know of is that faction bases now won't spawn on poop biome map cells but I suspect most people don't play with the poop biome spawn percentage very high. I still plan to fix this though if I can.

Once I get that, I'll post it here. I won't get it done today but definitely within the next few days. In the meantime, anyone that just can't play rimworld without realistic poop mechanics can download the in-progress and mostly working 1.4 version of this mod from the github page.

I'm fixing my mods in order of popularity pretty much. As soon as I get Realistic Planets working, this one is next. Be sure to think of any feature requests, especially 1.4/biotech related feature requests.

This is my favorite mod that I've worked on and I really think it's one of the most underrated things on the workshop. Dubs Bad Hygiene just isn't in depth enough by itself and its funny when a prisoner tries to fight you with poop.
