The Poop Mod

This mod works with Dub's Bad Hygiene. Using Dub's Bad Hygiene with this mod is optional but highly recommended

I give you, the sh*ttiest Rimworld mod ever made: The Poop Mod. Now updated for 1.5. This adds a large number of new features including the ability to poop!

What does a mod about poop entail, you ask? Well, let's take a look at the basics:

-It adds poop to the game.

-It adds entire biomes made completely out of poop. They are currently called "sewage dumping sites".
What are the rocks in these biomes made of? Poop. What is the ground made of? Also poop. What are all the animals, plants and trees made of? You guessed it, they're all made out of poop!
Everything in the poop biomes (other than a few ores and some fungus) are made out of poop.

So if everything is made out of poop, how do you survive, you ask? Well, by doing/making/crafting everything out of poop, of course.

You can make clothes out of poop
You can make buildings out of poop
You can use turds as weapons
You can eat poop
You can make furniture out of poop
You can roll poop into cigars (don't do it though, it tastes gross)
You can ferment wine out of poop
You can use poop to commit war crimes
You can pelt people with your poop
You can put prisoners in the same room as a dying poopalope, it'll explode and they can get covered in poop.

Of course, none of these things work very well. Colonists don't like eating poop (unless they have the poop eater trait), walls made out of poop aren't very strong, poop is definitely not the best thing to make clothing out of.

Even if you have a buttload of poop, traders aren't willing to pay you more than $0.08 per turd so you can forget about trading it for useful things. Even if you disassemble an entire mountain and get 50,000 turds, that's only 4000 silver if you're lucky.

There is research to extract steel from poop but it's not very efficient. There isn't a lot of iron in poop in real life, after all.

There are also achievements. If you are running the Achievements Expanded mod and have the load order configured correctly, this mod adds its own achievements tab and has some of its own achievements. I am planning on adding more achievements later on but if anyone has good ideas for some, feel free to put it in the comments.

Not sure if this mod breaks the rules but I mean people harvest organs, sell prisoners into slavery and commit all kinds of war crimes in this game so come on, ya know?

This mod is now compatible with the Ideology expansion. You can now start a poop-based religion. If you're not using Ideology, the mod will continue to work normally, you just don't have access to the Ideology-specific features.

This mod works with Biotech. Biotech is optional but recommended. If you are running biotech, you get 3 new genes: turbo pooper, loves poop and projectile pooping. The names should be self-explanatory to their functions. Projectile pooping is meant to be a weaponizable way to cover your enemy in poop.

If you are using Achievements Expanded, this mod adds poop-related achievements. Here is a list of all currently added achievements:

• Bon Appetit - have a pawn eat some raw poop
  
• Any color you want, long as it's brown - have a pawn simultaneously wearing 4 or more pieces of clothing crafted from poop
  
• That is one big pile of sh** - have at least 10000 turds in storage
  
• Anus of mass destruction - craft any type of weapon out of poop
  
• Poop renowned scientist - complete all poop related research
  
• Hell's kitchen - "cook" the worst meal possible to cook with the most disgusting combination of ingredients

The most requested feature is for compatibility with Dub's Bad Hygiene. The mod already functioned alongside Bad Hygiene without causing errors but pawns would have to poop out 2 different types of poop, they wouldn't always do it on the toilet and you couldn't get all the poop out of septic tanks.

The most recent update fixes this. Pawns can now poop on the toilet. The latrine, septic tank and sewage treatment plant will fill up with turds and fecal sludge when pawns poop in to them. Turds can be retrieved from septic tanks, latrines and sewage treatment plants the same way fecal sludge can. Pawns will poop out turds onto the floor or poop their pants. The sewage outlet allows for not just fecal sludge but also turds to flow through it. You can make a disgusting soup out of fecal sludge now to feed your prisoners.

Pawns by default produce 1 turd for every 10 units of fecal sludge they poop out. This can be adjusted in the options.

Dub's Bad Hygiene is an optional dependency. I almost decided to make it a required dependency but didn't because it ended up being possible to implement special handling to run different code with different dependencies based on if you are running the mod or not.

You can now commit more blatant war crimes with this mod. The new war crime functionality can and does work without War Crimes Expanded 2 being present. It is however very highly recommended to have this mod installed as Poop Mod is able to interface with War Crimes Expanded 2's war crime libraries and stuff making everything more immersive.

The series of updates I made for 1.4 included the most significant feature overhaul since the Dub's Bad Hygiene compatibility update. The new 1.4-specific features that you get whether you are using any of the optional dependency mods/expansions or not include the following:

• Turrets that spray sewage and poop all over the enemy - connect to your sewage pipe system if using Dub's Bad Hygiene. Otherwise, you can supply poop by hand.
  
• Improved poop explosions - includes new effects, better explosion poop spread, victims get varying levels of poop on them if caught in or near the blast.
  
• Poop mortar shells/IEDs - They explode, do a little bit of damage but splatter poop and sewage all over everything in the blast radius
  
• Poop war crimes - Plug your victim's ass until they inflate with poop and explode. Inject poop into their bloodstream. Cut them open, implant a turd and sew them back up so they can die of fecal sepsis. These are just some of the new atrocities you can commit.
