I'm GLaD you enjoyed it. Thank you for playing.

The time delay on the cube dropper button makes the whole thing more interesting. Things are possible that are not normally possible.
Andi  [author] Apr 8, 2015 @ 6:49pm
It does. Thanks for playing.
Chelliste Apr 8, 2015 @ 9:39am
Well, I figured it out, and I see from Innocentive's video that I'm right, but I simply cannot execute that midair spin / run / gun maneuver with my mouse. You have to nail it precisely and I get disoriented. Perhaps with a game controller it's easier. But solving it in my head counts for something!
Andi  [author] Aug 22, 2014 @ 9:39am
Thanks for playing.
Talisac Aug 22, 2014 @ 3:17am
Love this compact design chamber! Challenging puzzle!
Andi  [author] Jul 7, 2014 @ 11:04am
Thanks for playing, I'm GLaD you both liked it.
BRUCE Jul 6, 2014 @ 6:14pm
Great chamber, love the way you get your height to reach the tractor beam for the exit.
Brave Jul 6, 2014 @ 6:11pm
Good map Andi!
What I did, was tossed the cube onto the 2nd floor button passed through my portals real fast then the floor flip panels activate, then used the speed gel to get my height into the tractor beam!

Nice puzzle with some tricky movement. Finished with a cube to spare.

Quite hard but very good! I like such compact chambers and I like such physical experiments :)

Brilliant!!. A nice, smart and hard puzzle!.

Thanks again.

fantastic map. minimalistic,yet difficult
Andi  [author] Sep 18, 2013 @ 3:50pm
Thanks playing, I'm happy you it liked.
stormsend Sep 15, 2013 @ 6:45pm
Definitely a great puzzle. It was so hard to figure out then it seemed so simple. I liked the open look of the chambers. That timer on the cube drop was cool. It will require some study. The piston rescue was a good idea too. When I saw the gel pit, I knew what to do there. I used that in my map Funny Stuff. Try it when you get the time. Thanks and keep em coming. See ya round the workshop.
Andi  [author] Sep 3, 2013 @ 10:49pm
Thank you for your comments, I will try your map as quickly as I can. Thank you for playing.
UFS FrostGiant Aug 31, 2013 @ 2:09pm

Andi  [author] Aug 17, 2013 @ 6:04pm
Thanks for playing, GLaD you all enjoyed the chamber.

@Mr Vapour Waterhandle Without giving the solution away, the solution is easier than you think it is.
Maidi Aug 14, 2013 @ 7:49am
This one was a pretty great test! The solution is great, good entry! upvoted
Scryptic7 Aug 11, 2013 @ 2:14pm
Very nice map! It's very tricky (which I love)... definitely not fot the faint of heart but well worth the time and effort to figure out how to get to the end.
Weewek, Icelek Aug 11, 2013 @ 6:29am
This is a great chamber! I thought it was impossoble at first
Mr Vapour Waterhandle Aug 10, 2013 @ 7:34am
Before I try and continue this map, does the first part include having to fling the cube to the weighted button that controls both fizzlers by having it drop in a floor portal twice? Because I find that nigh impossible to do in practice...
Andi  [author] Aug 9, 2013 @ 2:55pm
I have about 30 other chambers you can try. Landlocked, A Case of Need, Corsair, and Duma Key are fairly tricky among some others but they seem to be the more popular ones.
agpilot Aug 9, 2013 @ 2:21pm
I just started trying my hand at it today, I got a long long way to go! I like the hard puzzles as they tend to make you think. Would love to play or "try" to play some more of your work.
Andi  [author] Aug 9, 2013 @ 2:18pm
GLaD to hear you liked it. I tend to make tough puzzles, just my style of designing.
agpilot Aug 9, 2013 @ 9:54am
I'd rather not say how long it took me to figure this one out. Fantastic puzzle!
agpilot Aug 9, 2013 @ 8:24am
I'm pretty new to this and this one is kicking my but! I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet.
Andi  [author] Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:14am
GLaD to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing.
Robbie Aug 7, 2013 @ 10:05am
The map was clever, took me awhile to solve this puzzle. This map is definitly not easy, but its enjoyable
Andi  [author] Aug 7, 2013 @ 9:18am
@ProfDave64 Happy to hear you liked it. You can't get the companion cube, I hide one in every map I make. Some are easy to find, others are hard but they're there unless the description says otherwise. Thanks for playing.

@Prototype I'll try to download it on windows explorer.
Prototype Aug 7, 2013 @ 1:59am
Here's a quick demo of my way to solve the middle part: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yuj72wqbswtwskr/gameofsecrets2.dem (you mentioned problems downloading, are you using the steam overlay to download it? if so you need to use a real browser)
ProfDave3d Aug 7, 2013 @ 12:23am

I'm not sure what the Companion Cube, under glass was for. Is that just like a meme? -- something a lot of people like to put somewhere in their levels? Or was their some way I could have gotten that cube ?

I'm guessing it's just like a landmark, but I'll read some other comments and see if I can find the answer.

For my #F4F ... I've now made 3 levels -- small, medium and large. Can you try my medium size level? East-West Hopscotch

Thanks for building this one!
ProfDave3d Aug 7, 2013 @ 12:19am

That was excellent!

I would break it into two parts. The first part is pure Mevious style logic, a chess puzzle with a little bit of running around.

The second part was that one difficult maneuver -- running with the gel to build up speed for a jump, but not quite having enough, so you have to turn around in mid-air, run some more and shoot another portal . The maneuver totally had me stumped when I first found it in "Cohesion." In the end, DeathWish808 gave me hint after hint, telling me that all I needed to solve it were those two walls .

I haven't read the comments yet, but I'll bet if people have any complaints, it's from that one maneuver. If I hadn't learned it in Cohesion, I'd probably be crying like a baby right now, instead of telling you what a cool level this is! :-)
Andi  [author] Aug 6, 2013 @ 4:37pm
Have you tried Quantum Dynamics?
lord_dhaf Aug 6, 2013 @ 12:15pm
I have played Landlocked already, and I liked it too!
Andi  [author] Aug 6, 2013 @ 10:01am
Thanks so much. Another challenging chamber of mine is called Landlocked. You may want to give that one a try if you haven't already.
lord_dhaf Aug 6, 2013 @ 9:58am
I also like to create chambers that makes the player stop and think. And it always makes me happy when I stumble onto a good challenge like this. Keep up the good work!
Andi  [author] Aug 6, 2013 @ 9:17am
@SAmAS Thanks for the comment and happy to hear you liked it. I'll be happy to try you chamber.
@Innocentive You're right. Negative ratings don't bother me it's just I want to know why because if I'm doing something players hate, I don't want to keep repeating it but your logic is sound, I think some players hate maps that give them a hard time. I can make maps that are easy but it's not my style... I want the player to think about it and be challenged by it and if that means negative ratings then so be it. I'm going to continue challenging the players here anyway.
@lord_dhaf That is strange. I wonder if it's because I used BEEMOD 1.05. There is a trigger that opens the exit at the end. It's the only BEEMOD element in the map.
@GLaD to hear you liked it, thanks for playing.
Galleon Aug 6, 2013 @ 6:30am
Really good! Took me some time to figure it out. I enjoyed it.
lord_dhaf Aug 6, 2013 @ 4:36am
Great puzzle, but strangely it crashes on me every time I walk into the end elevator. Thumb up anyway!
Innocentive Aug 6, 2013 @ 12:38am
Andi, this chamber of yours is clearly a very good logical puzzle! Don't worry so much about people rating the map down ... in my opinion - but I may be wrong about that - those are mostly players that just want a little fun on the side. If they stumble upon a map as challenging as yours even though it looks so simple they tend to get frustrated and will express that frustration in a negative vote.
Also, if you compare the votes mentioned on the ingame workshop screen with the votes on the steam workshop page you will see that most chambers get a lot of down votes...
♜ SAmAS ♜ Aug 5, 2013 @ 4:34pm
Hey man, justr tried your map. Quite original, solid and clean chamber, I really liked it! I don't understand why the rating is kind of average, I clearly gave it a positive rating, congrats man [ ]

When you have the time, go check my chamber Se7en Sins , your opinion on it would really help me, I'm always available for improvements.

See ya man [ ]
Andi  [author] Aug 5, 2013 @ 10:12am
For those who just leave a thumbs down and don't say why, it doesn't help me make better chambers in the future... I'd like to know why you don't like it so I don't keep making the same mistakes over and over. If you don't like it, that's fine, just leave some constructive critisism and I'll keep that in mind when designing in the future.
Andi  [author] Aug 5, 2013 @ 10:09am
Thanks to everyone for playing.

@Prtotype If you manage to get that to work, I'd love to see it.

@ Mullenix I'll be happy to try your map.
