Yeah, that shop wipe thing is actually kind of infuriating. I had one shop where it happened within seconds. Definitely would like a way to disable that. Makes me want to ignore those void shops entirely. lol Why change my whole route in order to hit the shop if it's going to arbitrarily wipe itself and offer me a cheat card. I'm not taking the cheat card, so I'd have gone out of my way to get to the shop for absolutely nothing in return because I spent too long reading the text on the various options.

Last update to this mod was like 5 years ago, so there's probably never going to be any fix for this. But in the off chance that the mod maker comes back to this,, the simple solution would be make the "Easter Egg" happen if you wait at the shop screen for like an hour or so instead of like around 1 minute... It's freaking absurd.

I too would like a Setting to disable the Shard Shop Destroying all the Wares, I play with a lot of Relic Mods and I often need to read the Relics appropriately and consider my options.
Anyway, very cool Mod, the quests are a Neat way of having another set of Purposes to achieve while playing.

Is there a way to disable the easter egg? It's hard to read what all of the cards do before it forces an "I win" button on me in their place.

could there be an option for infinite spire without black cards and shops ?

Since the endless replaces the keys, but some mod iteams buff you if you have keys, could you make it so you still hold them but they are also artifacts ?

hi @ pkpenguin, usually they appear in act 2 and act 3, and shown by a dark/purple icon on the map screen, and then once you do manage to find and beat it, you can click on the Quests icon near top right, and claim it to unlock endless mode.

This really needs a guide or a wiki or something, had a great run but didn't find a "nightmare" to go endless with. Bummer

huh i'm not the only one who wants that infinite quest to be optional.... i mean... it's not *hard* to kill that elite once you know how, but if you activate endless mode on one computer, and hten continue the game on antoehr computer, the quest isn't registered as beign completed and also doesn't show up so when yhou clear the current act you meet the heart and your game ends.

hi a couple of things i did which can make the regular enemies a bit tougher, including some bosses, was to add the shadowverse mod into the mix, as well as i think it was hollow night mod, but im not sure how to remove the 15 card per turn limit. another modder kindly help me by making a mod which removes the max hp gain limit, so that you can still get more max hp as the big bosses get into the millions or billions of hp :)

hi as far as i have seen, you need to always defeat the purple monster by act 3, to be able to have the option to click to "go infinite".

there might be another way to tweak just the shards part, but im not sure if infinite spire stores the value in its folder within AppData\Local\ModTheSpire for that infinite spire mod, but there are tons of text field values in that file.

hi if you have a look in your steam folder for the game, can you see in the saves folder another save file for your game?
(if you do, i think making a backup of the saves folder, and then renaming the same filename ending in .autosave.backup (into .autosave) might be able to roll you back to the previous save (but you would have to rename the existing .autosave into something else first)

I love the mod being using for months, Had around 600 void shards and my PC bluescreen on me, when I restarted the game could not sinc with the cloud from steam, I just ignored and open the game, now I have zero shards, is there a way for reset them to the amount I had?

Once i claimed the quest to kill a nightmare i went endless, after that i was stuck in endless and when i died it did reset for me but i never got the quest again to kill a nightmare (also playing with multiplayer mod)

Kaom's Heart or any relic that replaces relics actively overflows and crashes when held going into a dark merchant. Any chance of adding an option to the config to make the random relic option a static ? instead to work around?

found a bug, if you play this with downfall snecko it lets you pick black cards to be added to your deck

I seem to be stuck any time I visit the void shop. I can open the map, but it doesn't let me go to the next floor.

(also if you look at the 1st screenshot on this modpage, its the top middle quest entry called "kill a nightmare")

hi gyro, to go infinite you usually have to find and beat the purple elite (purple/black on map) which i think is there during act 2 and 3 or usually easier to beat by then, and then you also need to click the top right quests icon, and submit/claim your reward to go infinite - it should work fine after that and even though my screenshots below only show a certain level of big boss, i think i once reached a 320 or 400 million boss 1 time

Bro, how to actually go infinite? I don't get it, I have beaten the game twice now and then it just ended

just a small constructive criticism: i think it's a bit confusingly explained how to unlock the infinite floors, i think it'd be great if it was a bit more thorougly explained

Balancing? If playedd, especially in multiplayer, the Reruns get way too easy. Especially with Black Cards. Any Balance?

At dark shop, card auto spawns after not interacting, covers the middle of the swirl. when claiming the card game crashed:

btw @eggplant and @ba playing this sometimes with the shadowverse mod can make things a bit more challenging if you havent tried yet, its been good fun in the past like that for some games. :)
(in my current olderversion run i think i mixed up a bunch of mods and now cant actually get the lord of fortification or his counterpart to appear :) but what could be cool is to allow bosses from mods, + alternating between them + the lord bosses) :)

Very neat but quite unbalanced. For example, as long as you can get your hands on a The Best Defense and shuffle your deck at least once per turn, no matter how strong the enemies you are basically invincible.

Really fun mod but it honestly makes the game substantially easier with the power level of some of the cards, making it hard to use it for authentic playthroughs.

hi the mod does have some options, but for the gold aspect, if you play with the golden pickle relic, and can save a bit of gold, you'll soon be swimming in it - especially if you also play with the blackbeard mod :)
im not an expert, (and i certainly wish there was a way to play more than 15 cards in a turn - mana permitting), for sure, but in almost all my games in infinite mode i dont run out of gold, maybe 3 games out of 100 or something - and ive played infinite mode a lot for example:

(i 'think' i did reach a huge i think 300+ million boss or something but cant find a screenshot, but most of my infinite runs end up running slow with tons of combo effects from relics bouncing off each other some almost infinitely, that 1 turn can take 7 minutes lol)

Love this mod first of all, I was just wondering if there was a way to tweak it? It really sucks when I'm playing a character that focuses on playing massive amount of cards and every card I play takes away gold. My goblin brain does not like it. I'd prefer a way to make it that the enemies are even stronger but it doesn't take my gold. Is there a way for me to do this?

Sadly I can't find a way to disable Infectious Malware, and it kills all runs for me. If anyone knows how, please comment here. relic remove don't find anything, and it doesn't show on relic filter sadly.

I tried many times to activate the infinite spire. Anyone know how? I killed the Nightmare but nothing seems to show up, other than the usual rewards.

hi you might be able to use relic filter (or dev console) but good to make a backup of your game profile/saves data first.

Can you please, please, pretty please add the option to disable the Malware Relic? It ruins the entire mod for me, most of my decks rely on powers and skills to buff up as much as possible so I usually go bancrupt and shortly after dead before the finishing the first extra act.

ah hi usually you just have to find and beat the purple elite on the map, before the end of act 3 (in order to unlock endless mode from the quest reward screen). if you try doing that it should let you always unlock it - thats what i do :)

so.. i just defeated act 3 boss and the game ended.. how do i keep going beyond act 3?

hi im not sure if its possible. (if your character still wins matches, i think the only thing you can do is to tweak an option to swap the types of bosses you get, but its work making a full backup first)

and then try editing or deleting the content in here:
\InfiniteSpire
i think thats what i had to do last time, but make a backup of your saves from the game folder too just in case

is there a way to reset progress in the card that keeps upgrades between runs? mine bugged out and is now at negative value
