Is there any option to create my own scenarios with this mod?
I'd like to practice a Chinese build order that isn't included in the mod.

@JoeBunny I have managed to fixed the problem! Turns out the directory of the mod files can not contain non english words or letters, otherwise the game would have error loading the audio file. since I am Taiwanese, my original user name were in mandarin, hence the source of the problem! Still thank alot though!

Hi, is there anyone else having audio issue with DE version? For me everything else is normal, but when in game there's no audio playback.

DE has his own way to download the mod, go to MOD in the main menú and then browse all mods you want, you'll find this eventually

@Argieturk DE or HD? on HD I had no issues (1 year ago), on DE I had to manipulate with sound (Zero Empires narration was almost silent compared to other sounds) and I had to press the button near the minimap (that one that shows score) twice or 3 times and wait a little to see the objectives

@Extrenix it depends which scenario. Calculate the theoretical value (e.g. 21 pop scouts = 21-3start vill - scout + loom = 18. 18 x 25s = 450s = 7:30 click up) and add 5 seconds idle time for clicking feudal.
It used to be:
01 - Scouts: 7:55 (22 pop scouts)
02 - Scouts - Skirms: 7:55
03 - Scouts - Archers: 7:55
04 - Archers: 8:20
05 - Men-at-Arms - Archers: 7:55
06 - Drush - Archers: 9:15
07 - Drush - Fast Castle: 10:55
08 - Fast Castle - Boom: 10:05
09 - Fast Castle - Knights: 10:30
10 - Fast Castle - Unique Unit: 10:30

@Kunuk it doeasn't for me. You can always change the scenario in the scenario editor if you don't like it or want to practice on different maps

@Private_JoeBlow If you open up "map editor" and select the "edit scenario" option, then click on the scenario you wish to find the timings on/ conditions for A* etc. This will load up the map of that scenario. Navigate to the triggers tab at the top left and then scroll through this tab until you see 1A+. by click this trigger it will show you a list of conditions & timings below. In "Castle - Boom" scenario, there are a few conditions to hit for with a timing of 610 seconds to click up to "Feudal Age" but there are also 3 levels to this scenario so navigate down the triggers list until you see 2A+ and 3A+ to find out the conditions & timings to win the scenario. It then takes all three results and give you a average final score. You can do this for any scenario in this mod by following the same steps. I found it useful to better improve my game.

Anybody had problems with the mod? I suscribed, then went to Single-Player, choosed Custom Scenario as the game mode, then started the game.... but there was no audio guide, there was no build order in the Targets section...

I got Archers+ to work, and trigger the score. Had to use the expansion set, create a multiplayer game, with one AI... got an F

@cicero Hey! I love the tutorials, but I can't get the final trigger and score to happen. In Fast Castle and Knights I played it like 4 times and never got the final trigger, and did research Bow Saw and Horse collar. Even got 8 kinghts and all the techs to make sure i didnt miss one. I think my aoe2 is up to date. What am i missing?

Are there only supposed to be four sheep in each scenario? Also, when it tells me to make 8 archers I reach 8 and it doesn't mark the objective complete. Yes, I had bow saw and fletching, and had also upgraded to crossbow. I'm not sure why it's not triggering.

6. Choose scenario e.g. BO - (1) Scouts .aoe2scenario (or if you have expansions BO - (1) Scouts+ .aoe2scenario)
7. Settings: resources-standard, pop-200,speed & reveal map-normal, starting and End Age-standard (record game to analyze mistakes)
8. Start Game

For some reason, on the first scenario, the voice prompts instantly tell me to build a blacksmith once enough villagers are on gold.

Thanks for the report - should be fixed now.
I originally added example recs, but since the game doesn't have backward compatibility these tend to break with updates, so I won't be adding any more. Also with the release of DE, I don't intend to update this further (aside from minor fixes).

I've been trying the archers build order, and I'm not sure if this is deliberate, but the TC spawns seem a bit weird. Sometimes the TC is right up next to wood or cliffs, and often there are no sheep to be found in the standard distance (I almost always find at least two in the first few seconds of a normal game, but here I will often be searching for a couple minutes before finding any, if any spawn at all.

556 secs sounds fine to me - you need 24 vils, you start with 3, plus you need loom: (24-3+1)*25 = 550.
You were right on the first count - the objective crosses out when you get 22 (you do still need 24 though). Thank you for letting me know :)

Hey there Cicero! First of all once again, thanks for the great mod for AOE2 DE.
I think i found a few miss-triggers on the build order of Drush + Archers, the Objective says 24 vills, but some triggers check that you have 22.
Also the timing for a+ is 556 seconds, at 25 seconds a vill (plus loom) it's not possible
Maybe i'm missing something but i just wanted to check it with you. :AOEKnight:

Hi Cicero, is it possible to get your Interactive Build for AoE2 DE another way than with official mod manager? Some people still have in game bug and mods are not downloading for them (including me). could you put your mods data/files on aoezone/or any other server for us to download them manualy (its the only way we can play with mods even after "the big chrismas patch"...) really thanks for answer. Btw. brilliant job
