Yeah Dan there is still a lot of value in this mod: It's compatible with everything. Meanwhile Animal Gear doesn't even work for all the vanilla animals, nevermind modded ones.

Also I liked how this mod worked with a wider range of animals without having to personally go in and make armor for the animal

1.0 isn't planned unfortunately due to extensive rebalancing that may need to be done, though there is a sliver of hope for a 1.0 version of this. No promises though.

Also, animal gear is honestly a superior mod to this.

Oh that's a pity. I was excited for a Carnotauro in armor.
I'll continue your work, to see if later a patch for Dinosauria or Megafuana is possible.
For now, I'll settle for an army of bears in armor.

Hi, I have a doubt. Have you already associated your mod with some patch of another animal mod? (See, Dinosauria and Megafauna)
Because I found a Patch of Dinosauria Patch for Animal Armor B18. But what I do not understand
 Is your mod, or is it another mod with the SAME name?

Quick note: A Rimworld of Magic has been updated since and Animal Armour is now fully compatible with said mod.

Reproduce the bug and then go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\RimWorldWin_Data\output_log.txt

Uploading it to Dropbox or sending it to me on Discord will be easiest, but Pastebin might be doable too.

Blaze - The output log will contain the mod list, so only that is necessary. Restart RimWorld, load up your save, try to install armour onto a Thrumbo and once it disappears, send the output log. This way, errors should be relatively isolated.

Blaze - I was not able to reproduce this with the load order as follows:
Core, HugsLib, ModSwitch and Animal Armour v1.3.2.

Mind sending an output log? It could be some sort of strange mod conflict.

@XeoNovaDan Not sure if you saw but after I looked at the GeneticRim patch, I was able to put together a patch for FFGermanShepherd and submitted it via a pull request on Github.

BLAZE_WRAITH - I normally won't do comaptibility patches for other mods since otherwise it's just going to be too much work on my end. Also having to keep up with when those mods will be updated means that maintaining the patch will be a pain.

It'll be up to Dinosauria's author or some other person to make a patch for Dinosauria.

On the note of mod compatibility, I am currently in the process of integrating a GeneticRim patch made by Koolaidius.

Thank you for making this! In the event that you have the time and interest, may Imake a request for insulating armor? Stuff that functions as a sweater/cowboy hat for animals so they can go outside in areas that would otherwise be too hot/cold for them?

I love the idea of this mod because I always have lots of animals around but I'm afraid to send them into battle.

I was wondering though, how would I go about making a compatibility mod? I see in your Github that you have some XML files in the Patches/Core/ folder, does the defName of the animal need to be added there? I really want some German Shepherd battle dogs. >.>
