Update: Oct 8, 2017 @ 11:00am

This update took longer than expected, but that's mostly because of a new structure I get to introduce to you all:

Bug Fixes:
- Fixes an issue with the Pokeball Restorative where "ERR: Transient text cannot be serialized" would show next to each dino in the list
- Fixes a bug where Megalodon (and potentially other rescues) would end up creating a duplicate ball
- Fixes an issue where the Purlovia Dirt mound would end up showing
- Fixes an issue where Purlovias could be interacted with while in a Pokeball and hidden
- Fixes an issue where the Pokeball icon above a dino's head would not persist through a server restart
- Fixes an issue where the hurt decals still showed on healed dinos
- Fixes an issue where PC and Healing Console could be placed in the air (though they're not really in the air)

Changes:
- Changed the internal workings of the PC and Healing Console so that they work more effeciently, fixing any potential lag issues you may have had with them
- PC and Healing Console have newly updated Screen Textures. The PC was very much white before when it was turned on.
- Changed the way dinos are teleported when being released. Hopefully this will fix some issues with dinos not appearing all the time on release.

Features:
- Add in config option for disabling the use of Pokeballs on wild dinos. (DisableOnWildDinos)
- Add in config option for knock-out capture bonus (UnconsciousCaptureBonus)
- Add in config option for debuff timer time (CaptureFailedDefbuffTimeBase)
- New Structure! The Pokeball Trading Console. Trade your dinos with anyone on your server, transfering ownership in full. You can even trade out of tribe.

Update: Sep 21, 2017 @ 4:55pm

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a pretty major bug where the Pokeball Restorative's UI would show on all nearby player's screens
- Fixed the Pokeball Restorative's range so that it can see all Dinos in the map. Prior, it only showed dinos near you on the map.
- Fixed the Arena Prevention logic so that it shouldn't spam the player anymore with messages
- "Send to The Professor" was not working in Single Player. The reason for this was because the confirmation dialog would never show up. I've adjusted a lot on the Widget and hopefully solved it.
- Fixed a bug where "Return to Pokeball" could be used on dinos that were mounted. If this was done, the mounted player would be invisible.

Changes:
- Pokeball Sickness is now not applied unless the dino was actually tamed from the capture. There are a few instances where you could try to capture something and it would work, but the dino itself would never be tamed due to limitations on that dino. An example of this is the dinos in the Underwater Hard Caves.
- There's now a small delay (you won't notice it) before each tick of the DinoCaptured and DinoReleased buffs happen. This should reduce a bit of the strain that having a lot of captured dinos might induce.

Features:
- "Cure Pokeball Sickness" is now an option in the radial menu on dinos with Pokeball Sickness. Use this to remove the buff entirely, including all of its benefits.
- Added the "EnableInArena" option that allows you to set whether or not you want the Pokeballs to be usable in the Boss Arenas

Update: Sep 18, 2017 @ 4:24pm

This is a quick update that fixes two things:

- The Pokeball icon was not showing in Single Player
- Arena logic was running too often causing lag and message spam

Update: Sep 17, 2017 @ 6:15pm

This one's a LARGE update, but the one you've all been waiting for! Let's get to it:

Bug Fixes:
- Fixes a small issue where dinos would still be pooping (or making paste in the case of Achatina) while captured
- Fixed an exploit where players of different tribes could access the Pokeball PC of a different tribe
- Fixed an issue where structures on Platform Saddles still had collision when a dino having said saddle was captured
- Fixes a small issue where the Capture Failed Debuff would remain on a dino after it was captured successfully
- Fixes an issue where the Pokeball Healing Console could be placed in the air if you looked up while placing

Changes:
- Changes Water, Food, and Oxygen value increases from 1 to 10 while a dino is captured.
- Rescued dinos are now hidden immediately instead of being visible in the world while searching for a player to return to
- "Return to Pokeball" now will say "Return to {Pokeball_Name}" where {Pokeball_Name} is the type of Pokeball it was last captured with
- Passive tames are now given 5%, 10%, and 15% bonuses to capture rates for Pokeball, Greatball, and Ultraball respectively
- The Capture Failed Debuff widget now shows text denoting what its purpose is
- Increases Capture Failed debuff time from 5 to 10 seconds starting out and incrementing by that amount for each stack

Features:
- Added experimental logic for preventing use of Pokeballs (captured ones) inside of arenas. This does not apply to the Tek Cave... yet. (Needs testing)
- Added four new configuration options. Check them out in the Discussion labeled "Configuration Options."
- Added a new item that can only be spawned in and can only be used by Server Admins that allows you to manually rescue lost dinos from anywhere. Check the Discussions for the Spawn Code.
- Added a "Send to The Professor" button to Pokeball PC. Send away unwanted dinos to The Professor. He won't give your ball back though, so be careful with what you send to him.
- Added an icon above captured dino's head to indicate that it has been captured and by which Pokeball type

Update: Sep 5, 2017 @ 6:56pm

- Fixes an exploit with Pokeballs being returned on release.
- Prevents upload of Pokeball Captured when transfering ARKs

Update: Sep 5, 2017 @ 2:18pm

Addresses a start-up crash that occurred if the mod was in the first slot of the mod list.

Update: Sep 4, 2017 @ 6:03pm

This is a small update that brings the following:

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where SteamID was not saved properly, causing rescues to not work. The dino would just lie there passed out.
- Addresses random crash when capturing dinos.
- Healing Console now updates Pokeball health percent in the description
- Addresses a potential exploit where any player could "Return to Pokeball" on a dino, even if they didn't own them, and it would be returned to their inventory. The dino was still owned by the player, but they could still essentially steal your dino. Now, if you're not in same tribe as that dino, the option doesn't even appear for you.

Features:
- "Return to Pokeball" now assigns the dino to the player who returned them.
- Adds an "I choose you!" message when releasing a dino from its Pokeball.

Update: Sep 2, 2017 @ 12:45pm

This update is fairly large, with a ton of fixes a some new features. See below.

Bug Fixes:
- If you captured a Queen Bee, the game is programmed to play a buzzing sound. That sound didn't stop when she was in the ball, but now it does.
- There were many instances where dinos were rescued twice. This should be fixed because I rewrote the rescue logic a bit for it.
- If a dino was unconscious during a capture attempt, the thrown Pokeball would not disappear. Those Pokeballs that are in this state will still not disappear. The only way to get rid of them would be if I created some sort of clean-up nuke item for admins or if you uninstall and reinstall the mod.
- There's a pretty major bug that people are experiencing with lost dinos due to the rescue logic not returning the ball to them. I've done a lot of refactoring and came up with a new method that should be based on your Steam ID.
- Sharks and other aquatic dinos could drown when released from a Pokeball.
- Addressed an issue where aggro would be kept on dinos that killed a dino that was then rescued

Features and Changes:
- Changed the level requirements of the PC and Healing Console to 49, to be in line with the Electrical Generator
- Pokeballs are now returned to you if you miss. They are only ever used if you hit a capturable dino. If the ball bounces off of a dino, it will still be returned
- Changed Pokeball (all types) crafting requirements. There's less Flint now and Greatballs no longer require electronics
- Updated the mod description to reflect the most recent changes to the capture rate
- The capture rate for that ball your threw is now visible in the notification text when a capture fails
- Adds a visual indicator widget above a dino's head to show the time left for their capture failed debuff. See the updated description on the front page for more info on that. All you need to know is that when you see this indicator, don't try to throw more Pokeballs. The visible rate will help you determine that as well.
- Captured dinos now have a new option in their radial menu that allows you to return them to Pokeballs. This Pokeball is generated and will show up even if you don't have any.
- Pokeballs now no longer give you a Pokeball of that type back when you release a dino. Given this change, it's recommended to use the radial menu to return a Pokeball to their ball if you can. Throwing a ball at them will effectively waste that ball, but if you need to get a dino out of a situation from a range, they work well for that.

Important:
Make sure you release and capture all your dinos again to refresh the Pokeball Sickness buff. The buff won't protect your dinos until refreshed.

Update: Aug 23, 2017 @ 8:34pm

This update contains a bunch of fixes:

- Added extra logic to prevent dinos from DoT damage deaths. This includes burning, drowning, and leeches. I assume other types of DoT debuff damage would be handled by this. For actual damage, the original method is still in place. This basically provides an extra layer of protection for your dinos.
- Fixed a bug where Pokeball Sickness would stack indefinitely.
- Fixed an exploit where captured dinos that were aggro'd would be so indefinitely, causing a means of instant distraction
- Implemented Fate's new capture formula. I'll be adding a more detailed explanation of this in main description for those who want to know more. Eventually, it might get buried in the discussion that it's currently in, making it harder to find.
- Added more streamlined information to Pokeball descriptions
- Minion-like dinos that are destroyed after some time are no longer capturable
- Dinos that were failed to capture are now immediately aggro'd to the player
- Fixed a bug where capturing a dino that you're standing on would leave you stuck in the air
- Fixed a bug where a captured enemy dino that was attacking could still hurt you for one hit when hidden

Update: Aug 18, 2017 @ 6:31pm

- Improved dino rescue logic such that aquatic dinos that die on land are rescued just the same. Any health-related death is impossible while captured as well. I'm not sure if there are non-health-related deaths in ARK, but I'd rather be verbose about it.
- Moved the tame process to be immediately when the dino is captured successfully as oppossed to when releasing the captured dino. This may fix issues with dinos not appearing for people.
- The Pokeball that is returned to your inventory when a Dino is rescued no longer gives a Pokeball back to you upon release
- Addressed an issue where the Pokeball PC and Pokeball Healing Console textures wouldn't update on boot
