Update: Feb 10, 2018 @ 4:18pm

This is a quick-fix that disables the baby protection logic that I think was the source of the recent dino wipe; they were dying from starvation most likely.

Update: Feb 10, 2018 @ 12:51pm

This update marks a point in mod development where things are going to start slowing down. The mod is at a place where I'm quite pleased with how its progressed and the community feedback has been fantastic. Going forward, updates won't be happening as quickly as they were unless they need to (urgent issues; you know I'm good for them :P) due to life getting in the way and whathaveyou. Anyways, here's the lowdown:

Bug Fixes:
- DropItemsUponCapture wasn't working properly, destroying items. This has been fixed, but keep in mind, saddles and costumes are still dropped. It's an all-or-none situation.
- All dinos were being healed to full while captured. This was done at first to protect babies from dying, but the heal, even small, over time would add up to a full heal on adult dinos. This has been changed over to a conditional approach where babies should be the only ones benefiting from the heal.
- Similar to the Purlovia, Basilisk and Reapers were fixed so that those dinos don't override the Pokeballs' hiding logic

Changes:
- Rescue is handled a bit differently now: Prior to this update, dinos would be put into a state of sleep and then returned. When you released them, they'd wake up. Now, max torpor is inflicted upon the dino, after which they fall asleep. Release of a dino will no longer wake them up. Dinos must be woken up by traditional means or the Healing Console. This was done because it was a great suggestion and due to a report, I believe the previous "force sleep" method was causing potential issues for some users.
- Released dinos are forced through the game's unstasis process as a good measure
- Dino release processes are active for a bit more time than they were before, hopefully giving enough replication time for those having issues.

Update: Jan 21, 2018 @ 10:05am

This is a hotfix that addresses some immediate concerns and issues that came with 2.6b:

- Fixes a crash on hosted single player servers with Custom UI.
- Changes the Custom UI return/release hotkey from R to Left/Right arrows.
- Disallows dinos from being returned if they're being ridden
- Adds missing information for the DisableCustomUI configuration option that came with 2.6b, but was never mentioned.

Update: Jan 20, 2018 @ 2:07pm

This took way longer than expected, and part of that is due to the Aberration DLC release. With each major update, Studio Wildcard releases an updated version of the ADK... 30+ days after the release of the DLC. So, I had to wait on that, and then I had to make my changes after the fact. Well, enough of that now. Here's what's you get:

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with the Pokeball PC where Pokeballs would stack into the same slot in Box 2
- Addressed an issue where pressing Escape in a UI would detatch the player from the UI allowing them to walk around, but never really close the UI.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Pokeball Healing Console to require replacement after server boot to use.
- Fixed the Trading Console that broke due to a choice by Studio Wildcard. They removed a very important set of functions that the Trading Console relied on. Thankfully, they've implemented new methods I could hook into, providing the same functionality.
- Improved the logic that makes players fall from the sky if they captured the dino they were standing on. There were still cases of getting stuck in the air before.
- Improved the Pokeball Restorative entirely. The UI was greatly improved adding a search feature and cleaner layout. The UI will also now show dinos from any tribe, not just your own.
- Fixed a bug that caused a Pokeball to be transfered back to your inventory from the PC UI if you dropped the icon in the same slot it was currently residing.
Improved the teleport logic so that when you release a dino from its Pokeball, it will continue to teleport it until it has confirmation that it reached the proper location. Users reported that dinos were not appearing after releas. Testing and user feedback has led me to believe that this was the cause.
- Fixed a bug where costumes on dinos would not render properly after release.

Changes:
- Gender and Owner are now shown in the tooltip for a captured dino. Recapture your dinos to see this change.
- Pokeball Sickness, the buff that protects, is now called Pokeball Protection and will be referred to as such from here on out.
- Grappling Hooks are now detatched from the dino being captured.
- Captured Karkinos will now drop the dinos they're holding upon capture
- Improved the dino protection to better handle starving babies. If was entirely dependent on the max health of the baby, but often times they'd die faster than the protection buff could keep up. All protected dinos are given a bit of extra HP per second and food. It's not enough to be overpowered. If you're fighting a very powerful foe, they'll probably still knock you out.

New Features:
- An quick-switch feature has been added to the Pokeball PC's UI that allows users to quickly choose which Box they want to view
- Boxes can now be renamed in the Pokeball PC's UI.
- You can now search through both your inventory and all boxes for Pokeballs, perfect for quickly finding what you need without paging through 32 boxes aimlessly.
- New Configuration Options: (See the Configurations Discussion for more details on each.)
-- HideProtectionBuffFromHUD - Allows you to hide the Pokeball Protection buff icon and description when you're riding a protected dino
-- DropItemsUponCapture - Allows you to force all dinos to drop whatever they're holding upon capture
-- ExcludeCaptureDinoClasses - Allows you to set a list of dinos that cannot be captured in the wild.
- Introducing the new Custom UI. This baby sits on the side of your screen out of the way until you call upon it with either the Up, Down, or R keys. With the Custom UI you can set a part of up to six dinos. After configured, you can select a dino with Up/Down and press R to either equip its Pokeball quickly if it's captured or quickly return them if they're released. Health and level values are updated on a set interval to show you at a glance the status of your party.

Update: Nov 5, 2017 @ 11:20am

I realized that I had the power requirement on the PC turned off yet. It was disabled for testing, but it's back now. No cheating guys! ;)

Update: Nov 4, 2017 @ 8:53pm

Welcome to version 2.5b. This update includes a revamp to the PC and more! See below for more details.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixes a bug where switching Pokeball Skins would have a noticeable delay in Single Player
- Addressed replication issues with all buffs. The buffs that manage, dino teleporting, captured state, releasing, and Pokeball Sickness have all been changed in a way that should fix issues people were having with dinos being visible while captured yet and not showing up on release (unless the dino is really gone)

Changes:
- Many players witnessed what looked like dinos bobbing up and down, falling through the ground constantly. This was due to my previous method of turning off gravity ceasing to work in a previous update. It was my fix for the solution, but it was not without some overhead on your CPUs. I've discovered a better way to turn off gravity now for captured dinos and removed the heavy teleporting that was going on before entirely. Everyone's CPU strain should be lifted now and back to how it was in 2.1b.
- The Pokeball Restorative has been tweaked from the ground up to hopefully alleviate any issues people were having. I've implemented a speed fix for slow load times in the UI as well, but there's one caveat, however: Only supported GameModes (determined by the first mod loaded and the mod developer) will be able to make use of this. For everyone else (and this will most likely be the case), there's a fallback that searches through each dino on the server, as it was before.
- Changed the description typo "Meatball" to "Greatball", what it should have always been...
- Automatic PC transfers can now be seen in the your Tribe Log.

New Features:
- The PC got a HUGE revamp. Before, it was a glorified metal storage box that ran on electricity. Yuk. Now, it's a thing of beauty. First, the PC got a 100% custom UI, complete with drag-'n-drop functionality, box support, and releasing dinos directly from the UI instead of needing a dino in the PC inventory and selecting it. Next, the PC has a "cloud" inventory, if you will. This means that if you access the PC in one location on the map, add things to it, then go to another PC (a different one), you'll see the same items from your inventory. That's right, it's shared!
PC Revamp TL;DR Breakdown:
- Custom UI for managing your inventory and your PC's; Drag 'n Drop interace
- Release (Send to The Professor) your dinos directly from the PC's UI
- Box system with support for 32 boxes, each having 30 slots
- Shared inventory system for each player. Access your captured dinos from any PC on the map.

- Added Configuration Options. See the appropriate discussions section for more info
- PokeballPCTransferThreshold - Change the limit for when an automatic transfer or disable it entirely
- DefaultPokeballSkinIndex - Set the default Pokeball Skin for all players on your server (until they change it)
- DefaultGreatballSkinIndex - Set the default Greatball Skin for all player on your server (until they change it)
- DefaultUltraballSkinIndex - Set the default Ultrabll Skin for all player on your server (until they change it)
- DefaultMasterballSkinIndex - Set the default Masterball Skin for all player on your server (until they change it)

Update: Oct 22, 2017 @ 4:43pm

Implements some changes to ease up potential lag spots.

Update: Oct 22, 2017 @ 1:31pm

Addresses some other issues with capturing.

Update: Oct 22, 2017 @ 8:43am

This is an emergency update that fixes a bug where dinos would fall through the ground when captured and end up dying because they reached a world threshold. This was unforeseen and the logic I was previously using was broken from a new ARK update... or something. I'm not really sure as to why.

Update: Oct 21, 2017 @ 7:39pm

This update introduces a fun new feature that I think you all are going to really like:

Bug Fixes:
- Dinos are now forced to disable wandering when captured. This should prevent them from breeding while captured.
- Fixed a precision bug in capture chance calculation. This was making the capture chance more strict.

Changes:
- Released dinos are set to passive instead of neutral

New Features:
- Pokeball Skin System! Craft a Pokeball Skin Selector and go to town. There's a little something for everyone, so try them all out!
- I noticed a lot of confusion from users where they would drop Pokeballs on the ground for dinos they no longer wanted. This is no longer possible now. You'll get a message and the ball will be returned to you if you try to drop them now. You can still drop non-captured Pokeballs, however.
