November Patch

Hey Everyone!

Last month was huge! The team won a beauty contest in Germany and someone gave us flowers! We also had an awesome Halloween party planned, but it was spoiled by Iran showing up early. Oh, and we announced that our team is working on [something].

What's next? We turn 3 next month! To celebrate we will probably be renting cabins in Moosonee, right along the majestic Moose River. If those are booked, then we'll go to the lodge on nearby scenic Moose Factory Island. It'll be long days of budget oriented thrills and even longer nights of staring into our drinks and asking what the meaning of is is.

While we understand most of you aren't likely to join us in northern Canada anytime soon, we'll still have some cool things planned and probably even more loot boxes. You like those, right? YOU DO.

With love and respect,

-Gxp

September Patch

Hola!

We've come around to that fabled period yet again - patch day! The 56 Team has arranged an amazing platter of content, tweaks, and tiny sandwiches for your enjoyment.

Unfortunately the mood around the Team 56 Office has been grim lately. We've all been looking on in horror as our subscriber count creeps closer to 500,000 and a single question looms ever larger in our minds:

Which one of us is the most handsome?

This led to small debate, that then led to a pitched battle using office chairs and several old CRT monitors, and then someone tried to launch themselves out of a cannon to prove a point. It wasn't until Thinking_Waffle told us about his fatal pastry allergy that we all made peace and realized that nothing in life makes any sense.

That being the case, we're glad that you're along for the ride. Thanks for being wonderful and spending your chill evenings with us - making the world a better place one mod at a time.

As always feel free to contact us via Discord[discord.gg] and Reddit if you've got some feels to share. See you there!

With much love and respect,

-Gxp

July Patch

Greetings citizen!

It was 90 degrees in Alaska recently. Do you know what that means?

It means that America is still using the Imperial system, as god almighty and our lizard overlords intended. Also, my original plan of selling ice to Alaska doesn't seem quite so terrible after all, does it? ...and that's well before Atlantis thaws and hordes of mind-controlled zombie Glyptodons ride forth across Canada - causing sales to double! One merely has to think positively about these things.

Oh yes, and we have a patch. Apparently everything is in it. There are new and expanded trees, tons of bug fixes, and a whole list of amazing additions from the whole team. Particular mentions go to Blue Foxy, Sven, and Thinking_Something-or-Other. It's all listed below in a suspiciously well organized manner.

As always, send us your commentary and handwritten epic sagas via Discord[discord.gg] and Steam and Reddit! See you there!

With warmest regards,

-Gxp

June Patch

Hello everyone! Welcome to the monthly update! In Local News:

Thinking Waffle finally managed to outsmart the pirates that were holding his favorite book hostage, SpicyAlfredo is reportedly still unable to animate flesh with electricity alone, and Plutozz? No one knows. He mumbled something about alcohol and Germany, and then was never heard from again. The rest of the team is fine, probably. Unless Judge Alfred has gained access to the Necronomicon. Then things are definitely not fine.

As to the patch? It's a small update, mostly focused on technical matters with 1.7 compatibility. Pordy is working on slowly integrating our Reboot technologies and UI into the mod but it will take a fair amount of time. There are rumors of even greater things on the horizon, and no it's not just the Yeti that's been digging through the garbage bins. Besides, that's right outside - nowhere near the horizon. That's like the nearlowerizon? In any case, it's an officially sanctioned Danger Land.

Beware the Danger Land.

You can send your requests, constructive criticisms and destructive long-form smash poetry to us directly via Discord[discord.gg] and Steam and Reddit! Please do. Especially if you bring the bribes[www.patreon.com].

May Patch

It's May! That means the horror of Summer is now approaching some regions of the planet . Also, the Elder God Yomagn'tho is now 0.00034% more likely to penetrate the barrier between reality and the out realms, after which it will overrun the Earth with its Reptilian minions - but hey, at least there's a new patch and horoscope!*

It's a big one in the fixes department, and there's a some new content here and there. A number of trees got updated, some generals decided to show up after slacking off, we messed with the research balance (just for the fun of it, as always), and smashed a couple of long-standing issues with the AI.
