* I feel that the U.S. 105mm M1 Howitzer is seriously under-represented in the game, hence the change.

** TBH, this was actually a very interesting change made by Relic...it actually suits their theme far better than 'Fausts.

*** The blast WILL still destroy any and all tanks at or within 10m of the point of impact and that's not going to change. Any tanks outside that zone but within a 38m area will be crippled or damaged at the very least. That 38cm HE round was capable of destroying tanks by sheer blast damage alone and there is a historical precedent for this: During the battle for the bridge at Remagen, at least 3 Shermans and some support units in a village were put out of action by a single 38cm HE round. Note: This is the only confirmed record of a Sturmtiger actually engaging other tanks.

**** The Sturmtiger is an SP Assault Mortar, meaning its role is that of a heavily armored artillery vehicle.

* GG Commander Revamp update. Note that I'm still going through the various commanders to see what's missing.

** Long story short...Relic's model is completely wrong and only represents a pre-production model built to Luftwaffe specs. It never entered series production as the design was deemed to be overly heavy and complicated to build. Ultimately, the 17 vehicles built only served in one Luftwaffe field division. The production vehicle on the other hand was a simple but efficient conversion of the existing Sd.Kfz. 251, comprised of a shielded pedestal mount for the 2cm KwK 38 bolted to the floor of the troop compartment and racks for the ammo clips fitted on the interior walls.

That said, even though Relic's model is incorrect, stat-wise it's going to operate as though it was a production vehicle because that's what it's supposed to be and I'm tired of seeing it performing in a gimped fashion. Yes, this is a major buff to the vehicle. You're welcome.

* These are akin to the damaging rack detonations I gave to open-topped artillery vehicles and such a while back. So put out that cigarette!

** The Focused Observation ability is the same ability that assault guns and certain tank destroyers get, except that in order to use it, the Observer team must be garrisoned in the vehicle. This is intended to make it a more tactical vehicle.

*** Vet requirements were lowered due to the long reload times for the massive guns they wield, which makes it difficult for them to gain vet at the same rate as most other tanks. As for the reload speed improvements, this is allow for more gradual improvements to weapon performance.

**** I forgot that Relic had redone this commander and replaced a couple of things...d'oh! It also didn't help that I didn't have this commander in my roster for some reason. That being said, the SU-100 Tank Destroyer is back to make life more difficult for the German "big cats", which I'm sure will make you Soviet faction fans happy!

* This is to keep Scout Teams as the primary choice for early warning and intel gathering.

** Vs normal AP shells, the Panther's frontal armor is treated as being 135mm thick due to the effects of sloping even though its actually only 80mm thick. As these weapons used shaped-charged warheads however, they effectively ignored the line of sight bonus offered by sloped armor and could indeed penetrate the Panther - assuming the warhead didn't bounce as was prone to happen at times when firing from an odd angle.
