Night Update:
Been doing a second pass to all my night environments, trying to find the correct balance of brightness whilst retaining the immersive and atmospheric goal of the mod.
Currently getting real close to making nights too bright for my taste!
I have tweaked and sometimes significantly increased the brightness of the nights in the following regions:
- Empire
- Bretonnia
- Athel Loren
- Sylvania
- Kislev
- Norsca
- World's Edge Mountains

Will get to the rest in the following updates.

Update: May 3 @ 1:50pm

Chaos Realm Update:
- updated all the Chaos Realms map with brand new and unique environments, in line with the rest of the mod (they were pure vanilla still). I re-added to these maps a strong blur in order to give them a more immaterial feel.
- Unfortunately, you wont see these maps all too much in your campaigns since they are pretty much non existant in IE, except a couple of quest battles. They are present in RoC of course, but barely anybody plays that map. They are present and fully playable in ChaosRobies The Old World since he added the Chaos Realms back to the map.
- expect what you see in the Chaos Wastes or monogod corrupted areas but dialed up even more for each god.
- I've added a bunch of screenshots to the gallery as a preview. You'll find them after the Chaos Wastes screenshots.

Update: May 1 @ 3:34pm

Quick update:
- gave a second pass to the island battle map environments, so now they correctly coincide with the revised environments of the "land" counterparts.
- minor tweaks here and there.

Update: Apr 13 @ 2:03am

Quick update:
- reduced intensity of wind for the windy and stormy weather effects (ones with just wind blowing and no rain/snow)
- added the second environment for Skaven Corruption to Kislev and Norsca battle maps (somehow i had forgotten)
- updated a bunch more of quest battle maps who still had vanilla lighting. Im missing just a couple now.
- made a bunch of tweaks here and there to some environments

MAJOR UPDATE
Gave a second pass to all Naggaroth environments.

Major Monogod Corruption overhaul:

- Monogod corruption is a lot more elaborate and varied depending on where you are in the world. Generally speaking, all areas of the world will have 2 different environments per monogod, adding much needed variability. Visually, monogod corruptions will now make use of a lot of different chaotic skyboxes, in addition to the vanilla ones.
- Moderate areas: the following regions will have a tamer and more contained vibe while corrupted, though still feeling chaotic and unnatural: Empire, Sylvania, Bretonnia, World’s Edge Mountains, Kislev, Badlands, Nehekhara, Darklands, Mts of Mourn, Cathay, Lustria and most of Naggaroth.
- Due to the heavily magical nature of Ulthuan, monogod corruption will be more chaotic here. For similar reasons (but different visually), Athel Loren now has very otherworldly corruption (this includes Undivided corruption as well).
- Norsca, the Great Bastion map and northern Naggarothi maps will have a very Chaotic feel. I have also added a new Undivided Corruption environment to Norsca.

I will soon update my extensive gallery, but here’s a preview of some of the new Corruption environments: https://imgur.com/a/2KEZ1IJ

Update: Mar 3 @ 1:08pm

Pushed a quick update with a bunch of minor tweaks. All the Empire nights are brighter.
Also i added Lightnings to several kinds of rains. Their intensity depends on the kind of rain.

Update: Feb 16 @ 4:00am

Other Update where:
- gave a second pass to Badlands and Nehekhara, adding a bunch of new environments to each and tweaking the current ones (including the nights)
- added a second environment of Skaven Corruption to every area of the world. This should make fighting battles in areas with heavy Skaven Corruption a bit less repetitive. The new environment is a cloudy night battle with Morrslieb shining bright. You'll get corresponding weather (snow, rain, warp ash ecc) depending on where you are in the world.

Update: Feb 10 @ 3:05pm

Another major update, with a second visual review and pass given to: Norsca, Athel Loren, World's Edge Mountains. Also, these areas had fewer environments than the rest (6-8 total) so all of these areas have also recieved 4-5 brand new environments to their pool, bringing them up to the current average standard of 11-14 in total i want to give each area.
I'm keeping the nights at a total of 3 like before, meaning that the day:night ratio is definitely higher now with more diurnal environments added. As a result nights are certainly less frequent than before, though ultimately it is up to the RNG god to decide.

I have also big plans for the various corruptions. I consider Vamp corruptions with now 3 different distinct environments (as well as the regular night maps of those areas) to be complete and very varied.
However, Skaven and the Monogods have only 1 skybox currently, and even if vary quite a lot the kind of wether within that same skybox, they can get very repetitive during a playthrough.
Once i finish my second pass with ever area, i have already quite a few ideas on how to give more varied environments to these corruptions types. If you play around with Skaven corruption within the Empire, you'll already get my second Skaven Corruption environment i've been testing and working on. Major Update
So i'm in the process of slowly revising the entire mod, giving everything a second pass, tweaking and improving everything, but also adding new environments to area, adding new skyboxes and weather effects and much more.

Major things that come with this update:
- added a bunch of brand new skyboxes to the game. Some of them are unique to Cathay (3k fans will be happy!).
- gave a major second pass to the following areas: Cathay, Ulthuan, Bretonnia, Lustria.
- tweaked a lot of the night environments, especially those that have rain
- tweaked the weather effects like snow and rain in order to make them still intense, but a lot lets obtrusive and easier on the eyes. This is most noticeable with the more extreme weathers like monsoon, heavy storms and blizzards.

I'll eventually update my extensive gallery with the new environments of the above areas as well as corruption types!

I have a huge list of things to do, add, change and improve for each area, and also for every corruption type. Will get there eventually!
