Proper update a year later.
Added "death cards" that drop upon death and allow crew to clone people without bodies. They last 16m 40s while dry or 8m 20s in water. They emit a pulse (from the nasonov artifact) that gets progressively faster the less condition it has. XP, skills and cellular damage of the clone depends on the condition of the death card. Getting eaten by an orange boy no longer means the end of your character, though it will lose stats for such a mistake. Death cards can be disabled via config.lua. If anyone have ever touched a lua config file in history.

Getting cloned via Death Card will always inflict 3-4 random cloning afflictions.

Also made "Cloning in Progress" a lot faster, and made it regenerate all types of damage while active, giving the new clone temporary protection until conscious.

Old bodies of clones now have all their limbs fly off in spectacular fashion. Also, they retain all their afflictions. (from https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3376408523)

Cloning afflictions have been changed in a few ways:
Cellular breakdown: causes more damage, blood loss, happens in stages, less obnoxious visuals
Postmortem barotrauma: causes permanent +20 oxygen low
Hemophilia: Decreased vulnerability from 4x to 3x because bleeding was just completely unreasonable
Opiate intolerance: Now causes organ damage upon opiate use
Split consciousness: Causes hallucination below 50% health
Narcolepsy: Increased frequency of sleep
Cloning fatigue: Less screen blur
Frail body: Causes 20% loss of vitality

-Fixed a bug that allowed duplication of strange reagent
-Fixed a bug where the cloning pod would not remove possibilities of getting afflictions you already had (old afflictions were given to the new clone after rolling for an affliction, a rather humorous mistake)
- Changed some flavor text

- fixed shit so it works again
- removed all "set skills to 5" (idk what i was thinking)
- strange reagent now makes glug sound
- strange reagent now actually works as it should, healing in an hour instead of instantly
- you can now pick up clone pods
- hemophilia no longer causes medicine insensitivity (???)
- reduced the duration of cellular breakdown and clone fatigue
- increased the invulnerability duration after cloning

- Added new item: Strange reagent
- Cloning a body will now leave that body and its items intact instead of transferring them to the new body.
- Added color coding to the cloning afflictions based on severity.
