v3.2.0

UPDATE: We've introduced a TIER system to the GEMS. This does several things.
A GEM with a higher tier should cost more Will/Mana to cast, in multiplicative stages. We've slightly adjusted the base values from 10% per cast to :: min15% to (max15% * Tier) per cast.
A GEM now shows it's TIER on the name line.
Psionic Abilities that are affected by Will/Mana costs should have the cost appended to the Description and Help Text.
A GEM of TIER 3 or higher CANNOT be put on an amp with GEMs of the same tier.

TIERS are editable in the config files, but we think we've done a fair job setting them up.

Syphon now refunds 10-15% and Clarity still refunds 15-20%.

BUGFIX: Fixed an interaction with building PsiAmps with Weapon And Item Overhaul.
WIO was accidentally negating PexM's psi-amp build projects.

BUGFIX: In conjunction with the new dependancy Facility Overlay Slot Index Fix this now fixes the tooltips on the facility when not all upgrades are built! The soldier slots in the facility will now also be purple signifying they are Psionic Slots.

FEATURE Premlininary support for Grimy's Loot Mod. Psi Amps should still be able to use Grimy Loot Attachments. Config editable to toggle it off.

BUGFIX/UPDATE: FINALLY!! After almost 1.5yrs (wow, that long!) the new facility will now have people in it when staffed AND has an introductory cinematic. Many thanks to Xymanek and GameBreaker for this functionality !!

UPDATE: Zero actual code changes. We just redesigned the Facility Upgrades map. Still no people animated though. This was possible thanks to GameBreaker finding some cool unused assets that we made work well in the space.

BUGFIXES:

  • Will Events now have some code improvements for stability.
  • Finishing MELD Extraction now correctly continues to GeoScape or Returns to the PexM Chamber/Lab, based on choice selected in the Alert
  • Finishing Psi Grading now correctly continues to GeoScape or Returns to the PexM Chamber/Lab, based on choice selected in the Alert
  • Finishing GEMS/PCS construction project now continues to GeoScape
  • Clarity of Mind, should now replenish Will for the Commanders Avatar.
  • MELD Extraction Project should now show the correct quantity created.
FEATURE UPDATES:
  • List of 'Psionic Valid Abilities' now has an extra config editable exclusion list for problematic abilities (like TargetDefinition), that do not drain Will on 'use' but can still be placed onto PexM GEMS/PCS'.
  • GEMS/PCS Perks that require Pre-requisted Perks now have some warning text added to thier descriptions, eg SoulFire & SoulSteal, Stasis & Stasis Shield.
  • Perks now only copy the descriptive promotion pop-up text if they have text to fill. Stops entries having a ***** [blank] ***** at the end of descriptions.
  • Config toggle added for mod<>mod compatibility of PsiOverhaul_V3 for if units with 'TheGift' should count for Will-As-Mana system Will Drain on Psi Use [default skip drain]
    This config toggle is NOT reflected in the Encyclopedia entry yet (doh!) ...

Debug console command for checking 'valid psionic' abilities changed to RustyFix_ToolBox_PexM_DumpValidClarityList and output made to give more information.

BUGFIX: Fixed an issue with Favid's Renewal passive where it would constantly drain a soldiers will each round (similar bug that Target Definition had). Many thanks to Firebrand for reporting the issue on discord.

BUGFIX: Fixed the flyover display of the Syphon Will gain to show it's positive for the caster instead of negative. Many thanks to Mitzruti for spotting the issue.

Hopefully this will be the last update for a little while and things can settle down :)

BUGFIX: Fixes initial teething trouble between Reaper/Target Definition and the Will-As-Mana system.. it should no longer be removing 10% Will for every unit they see, but correctly excluded from the system as a 'passive' ability.

UPDATE: Contains some preliminary mod<>mod compatibility fixes for Psi Overhaul v3.. yes, I like to give people options.. and this one was requested by BowWow. You should now be able to train/slot "Latent Gifted" people into a 6th slot in the Psionics Ex Machina Lab after the Gollop Psionics upgrade. -- This should mean you no longer need the old lab config toggle for these 2 mods to work together. NOTE: this compatibility bridge is largely untested, although it has some small issues we're trying to work out with the PsiOverhaulv3 author, as to how/when soldiers get the Latent Gift :)
