Reforged Galaxy V1.7-22:
  • Added Platinum Credits, which are used as compressed currency. Each Platinum Credit Card is worth 10,000 Credits and can be made in most constructors.
  • Replaced Tianlong with a lower class-size version, supplied by Jupiter Vessel Corp.
  • Adjusted drops of Mining Shuttles for the Desert Strike polaris mission so they only drop both Mining Shipments and Ore.
  • Adjusted new hacking system
    - First screen now shows SEF designation instead of SCD.
    - Capturing a datavault now checks if the AI is over 100% capture.
    - Using Hacking Software now performs a check if player is over 100% capture.
  • Regeneration Kit now treats Bleeding.
  • Reduced recoil on the Elite SMG and changed the sound effects. (Apparently the gun is "wooden" whatever that's supposed to mean.)
  • Increased shield damage of LMB of the Zirax Beam Rifle, reduced rate of fire.
  • Added new Empyriopedia entry regarding factories and trader missions.
  • Fixed bug with Polaris repeatable mission "Desert Strike" taking the wrong mission item.
  • Structural Ramps 3x1Edge now accepts symmetry. Please ensure any existing builds have not been broken by the change (existing blocks MAY now be standing on their end instead of sitting flat).
  • Separated the POI groups for Polaris Factories into 3 compatible groups. The new groups now spawn 2-3 per planet near a trade station instead of 1.

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-21:
HOTFIX
  • Increased stack size of 30mm and 40mm rounds from 1500 to 2000
  • Applied new symmetry checking to Constructors and the new Structural Ramps.
  • Rewrote satellite hacking system.
    - System now gives accurate display of what each option does (S-E-F values are explained by asking IDA for help).
    - Core Processing Speed is now a randomized value per satellite (1-5), which adds X points onto the security system's capture each move (X = core speed).
    - Hacking Software: Spam now cycles the nodes available into the highest 10 options possible.
  • Treating some conditions no longer inflicts Dehydration
Note: One shape out of the new ramps presently doesn't support symmetry; and the large and advanced constructors don't rotate in the correct direction when used with symmetry.

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-20:
  • Increased amount of components that Factory Traders purchase.
  • Increased damage of Heavy Positron Turrets.
  • Reduced overall shield recharge rate and strength of POIs.
  • Added new Structural Ramp variants and shapes (Now available in a variety of shapes, not just 3x1 ramps)
  • Added new Armor Locker model and icon.
  • Added new task check for Talon mission to attack the Zirax Convoy in the event you've destroyed the convoy before performing the mission.
  • Reduced mission requirements for all Class Missions except Engineer.
  • Removed leftover tag from vanilla config that was incorrectly grouping some deco consoles with alien crew.
  • Switched the names of the small CV solar panels so the one with the stand is the one named with a stand.
  • Fixed missing Lighthalzen Biolabs prefab file.
  • Bug fixes.
Credits for the new Armor Locker and updated Structural Ramp Models got to bOBaN; Reforged's resident modeler.

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-19:
HOTFIX
  • Change to Loot for Eden compatibility.
  • Changed Industrial Multitool (SV) over to rayspread, and increased damage modifiers.
  • Reduced stamina consumption of heavy weapons.
  • Reduced the rayspread of other applicable weapons to match shotgun changes.
  • Dead plants can be salvaged/deconstructed for plant fiber.
  • Reduced maximum point distribution for high level pirate Space Defense attacks. Probably won't do anything to stop the game bug where infinite reinforcements are summoned since it's not part of the scenario.

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-18:
  • SMG durability increased.
  • Fixed a targeting issue with shotgun-type weapons that was throwing off the spray of pellets before calculating spread. This should fix their seemingly random performance as of 1.7.
  • Increased ammo capacity of shotguns by 2 shells.
  • Added minor stamina boost to being fed that counteracts the lowered stamina bug caused by starving to death.
  • Discovery range for the Long-Ranged Radar (CV) increased by 2.5km (10km from target in space; 3.2km planet)
  • Fixed a stocking issue with the smeltery NPCs.
  • Shower purges radiation faster
  • Fever attack increases temperature by 1 degree more than it did previously since neutral environment temperature was nullifying the gain.
  • Superconductors, Solar Cells and Heat Exchangers can now be bought from trade station venders until spawning of their respective factories is improved.
    Purchasing them from trade station venders is not efficient.
  • Reactor Cores can be looted from Ultra Rare containers.
  • Added new Zirax Factory (Sells Electronics, can be fought and looted for commodities)
  • Updated Sector Command
    Exterior turrets upgraded with better vertical accuracy
    Underground turrets can now point downward.
    Loot containers in the Engineering section now contain Fusion Reactor components.
  • Fixed locked doors on P3 Manufacturing Factory.
  • Increased Polaris Factory spawns on Temperate planets.
  • Increased maximum distance for Factory spawns to increase the chance that one spawns.

Hotfix

- Fixed typos in sub-class mission description incorrectly stating 50 instead of 20 in the pop-up.
- Fixed bug with Engineer Main Class not correctly awarding skill bonus for level 4>5 so couldn't choose a subclass.

Note: If you've reached Engineer level 5 already in your savegame, the event cannot be retriggered. You will need to use (or get an admin to use if in MP) the console command: "give item Token 4013" to obtain a Naval Commendation, which can be used in the Class Level screen to manually increase your class level by 1; Allowing you to pick your sub class.

  • Fixed Ok'y Medical mission 04 item request for Varon Root (Varonroot in the configs instead of VaronRoot. Eleon, please use consistent naming...)
  • Fixed Platinum Mine Mission #10 wanting AsaultRifles instead of AssaultRifles.
  • Fixed typo in Bertram mission #03.
  • General update of older configs.
    - Player backpack now has backpack model
    - Item drop box from destroyed inventories uses updated model
    - EGroups includes Polaris Patrols.
  • Increased width of the Medium Shield Charger and Capacitor models to fit better within the block space.
  • Added Heavy Glass Connector Q for HV/SV Heavy Windows.
  • Fusion Reactor can now be painted.
  • Shield Capacitors and Chargers can now be painted.
  • Shield Balancing changes (don't look so worried, they're good ones)
    - 2x1x1 Shield Capacitors and Chargers' mass reduced slightly for better scaling.
    - 3x3x2 Shield Capacitors and Chargers' CPU reduced from 100,000 to 75,000.
    - 5x4x5 Shield Capacitors and Chargers' CPU reduced from 350,000 to 250,000.
    - Mass of larger Shield Capacitors/Chargers is now based on volume occupied by 2x1x1.
  • Updated Chapter 2 mission POIs.
    - Ancient Tower: Made the Red Console indestructible; Replaced Zirax Soldiers with weaker mission-specific variant that's easier to kill.
    - Monument: Replaced Zirax Snipers with the aforementioned weaker soldiers.
  • Chapter 2 missions updated to target both the new troops and the old ones for backwards compatibility on existing savegames.
  • Chapter 5: Bunk bed task in the Crashed Titan can be manually completed if someone's destroyed the ship in MP.
  • Player Admin Cores now set to no longer consume Fuel and O2 for HWS compatibility.
  • Updated Abandoned Factory with larger cover in the Weapon Testing room and opened up a clearer path to get past the turrets. A switch is added to the capacitor on the right side of the room to turn off the connected turret.
    First door onto the factory floor is now code-locked with the same code as the ramp so you need to get the code from upstairs since someone couldn't figure out where to get the code for the ramp.
  • Factory Box added to the Abandoned Factory. These contain factory-only materials and components for anti-polaris players so they can make trade-locked devices.
  • Updated Abandoned Assembly Yard with damage state for the shockwave emitter in the final corridor that was on full hp instead of 1/12 hp.
  • Fixed incorrect Faction for Roggery/Swamp Trade Station being Civilian instead of Polaris.
  • Remote Connection can now be made in the portable constructor.
  • Removed ammo, fuel and food from Ultra Rare Loot containers.
  • Removed less useful items from Very Rare Loot Containers.
  • Adjustments made to elite weapons to account for increased drop rates.
  • Updates to the Large and Advanced Constructor models to include damage states (smoke and flame)
  • Added new model to the Small Base Constructor with new damage states. All credit goes to bOBaN for his work on the model and texturing.

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-16
  • Debug Assault Rifle no longer has any recoil
  • Fixed a bug with the scenario upload that wasn't updating the status effects file.
  • Added the new Large Constructor and Advanced Constructor Models and icons (All credit goes to bOBaN/Dogmeat for these models)
  • Added new Tiers of Shield Capacitor and Charger for CV/BA. (3x3x2 and 5x4x5)
  • Shield Capacitor and Charger limits for CV/BA reduced from 24:24 to 4:4:4:4:4:4 (24 total)
    The new shield capacitors give +15,000 shield HP and +45,000 shield HP. They are less efficient however.
    New Shield Capacitor and Chargers have unique models. They're very fancy.
    Warning: Please do not jump into the spinning turbines. I am not fishing out any players who think it's fun to stick their heads into a disk of spinning blades.
    - Models are subject to change (I had to rush them)
  • Shield Capacitor and Charger limits for HV/SV are 8:8, and may be adjusted to fit in their own larger version. I don't have time to add new models though.
  • Minor balancing and bugfixing.
Known Bugs:
The new Shield Capacitor/Charger models have some sections that the multitool won't collide with due to the shape and complexity and the way Empyrion handles collision meshes means that normal collision meshes don't work unless they're on the parent object. However, collision meshes can't be moved/scaled into place unless they're on a child object. So both are being used, so the player can walk over and touch surfaces naturally (collision mesh), but there's still gonna be some invisible corners sticking out for tools/weapons to impact (box/capsule collider).

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-15

  • Fixed broken mission parameters for a couple of mining missions (for medical items) and the Quantum Star trader mission that requests hacking software.
  • Increased the range of HV/SV Long-Range Radar from 5km to 7.5km (planet) and 12km to 15km (space)
  • Fixed a missing 0 in shield damage of plasma turrets vs T3 shields resulting in 10x shield damage against Legacy shields.
  • Reduced the size of the screen on the Radioisotope Generator's new model to more human-sized proportions.
  • Added plasma jets to Fusion Reactor model (WIP)
  • Added new model for Torpedo Launcher. Device is now 5 blocks long instead of 3.
  • Added new model for Bomb Launcher. Device is now 4 blocks long instead of 3.
  • Added new projectile models for Bomb and Torpedo (WIP).
  • Mobile Food Processor can now be colored. (All credits go to bOBaN/Dogmeat for his amazing work on the Food processor model)
  • Fixed broken Luxury Goods trader dialogue (Variable overlap caused by incorrect option target)

Reforged Galaxy V1.7-14:
  • Increased POI/OPV shield regeneration rate by 15%.
  • Fixed missing 1 from Heavy Window mass.
  • Updated 2 zirax OPVs that weren't equipped with modern weapons and shields.
  • Switched the names of Medical Trauma Table and Medical Surgical Table around so they make a bit more sense.
  • Alien Parasite can now be treated at both medical tables.
  • Fixed missing Repair beam effect on Multitools
  • CV Fixed Rocket Launcher's blast damage has been increased by 30% and blast radius increased by 1 meter.
  • Reduced chance of receiving Alien Parasite to 1% for all creatures, except Overseer (1.5%).
  • Alien Parasite's negative effects halved.
  • Reforged Creative Studio: Building Blocks and Vital items now stack to 50,000
  • Removed visual display of status effect treatments from medical items. New display is now on the item's descriptions.
  • Increased Legacy weapon damage vs shields.
  • Added some new Mechanoid variants for future use (Gatling, Flak and Rocket)
  • New Icon and Model for Radioisotope Generator (RTG)
  • Fixed Ocean World's Salt Extractor faction setting. Now correctly assigned to Colonists.
  • Minor bugfixes and balancing.
