New version added that doesn't use the skinned faces.
RTO zombies added.
Military Mask spawn chance lowered to 65%.
Helmet spawn chance lowered to 94% as there's a small chance one of the soldiers could lose their helmet, even while strapped on, during the outbreak while uninfected, or after zombification.
More poster images on the mod select screen.
Hazmat zombie spawn chance lowered in normal military zone to 10%
MP and RTO zombies spawn globally at a rate of .01%

RTO Zombies:
Mostly the same as normal green camo zombies, but:
Slightly higher chance to spawn without helmet (like 90% or 85%)
May spawn with no filters on their masks
And of course, wears a ASIP/1523 SINCGARS Manpack radio (ask me how I know trainee) on their back. This is a vanilla asset, and it doesn't work or can be picked up right now.
They have a 4% chance to spawn in military zones and secret military zones.
Should spawn in with pistols and stuff on their webbing.

Tucked pants (working female and male models) added to woodland zombies (replacing all of their pants), designated with a (T). They're not untuckable yet.
Still working on a good recipe for the masks, and now will have to make the recipe for the pants to be untucked as well. But the tucked pants are here..
And I'll have to make each individual pattern pants item too.

I want to add jungle boots so that's probably what's going to be next as it should just be an easy retexture (as opposed to this mess of a recipe script I'm making). Will probably have nice stats as well with no movement debuff but less defensive stats. Thinking the name will be Military Boots - Lightweight. Also expect military socks and military briefs since they're not in the game.

Other changes:
Angle-headed flashlights should spawn sometimes on the webbing of urban military zombies.
Small texture edit on one of the skinned faces.

Unique skinned-looking faces for soldiers added, check images to see what they look like
Why?
They'd either had gotten their mask ripped off while alive (and their face mauled) or tried to claw it off while a zombie, as said zombie probably can't grasp the concept of head straps.
It also looks cool.

Military gloves added, based off of flyer gloves.
Replaces all of the leather gloves that spawn on military zombies.
Has 65 scratch defense and 25 bite defense.

Upcoming plans:
Special soldier zombie body textures
Finish the gas mask filter recipe.
Military Balaclava
Add PASGT helmets with scrimmage/camo/foilage in it to create a scout type of soldier zombie.
Military hazard suits (to use with the NBC hood in-game). Authentic Z has a similar outfit so if you use it (as I do), it will still look cohesive. This one is going to be in woodland to represent MOPP 4 suits.

Things down the road:
Zombies with gas masks in special locations (hanging off the face) so they can actually eat. Probably going to spawn in with skinned faces. I usually play with sprinter zombies/infectedbecause that's what I find realistic/plausible as opposed to actual undead type of zombies, and I don't think that type of zombie would walk around unable to eat with a mask over their face, and would try to tear their own face off to get rid of the mask.
Models for tucked pants, or a compatibility mod for it

Military Police zombies added
Weapon spawns fixed. They ACTUALLY, REALLY spawn in now. Expect a lot of guns, canteens, and radios.
Hazmat zombie spawns increased to 15% in normal military zones

Military Police Zombies:
Wear OD, may wear a police vest or a OD protective vest, and spawns with shotguns, pistols, and nightsticks. Wears normal woodland helmets with a high chance of a military gas masks as well (may spawn without filter)
Usually wears a hydration pack
Has 25% chance to spawn in the secret military zones and 15% chance to spawn in normal military zones.

I'll probably give them OD helmets in the future. The texture is in the vanilla game files for an OD helmet but it isn't in the game yet.

Urban Camo Zombies:
May spawn in with a shotgun, pistol or bedroll
Should sometimes have canteens and radios on their webbing

Green Camo Zombies:
May spawn in with an M16, pistol or bedroll.
Should sometimes have canteens and radios on their webbing

Desert Camo Zombies:
May spawn in with an M16, M14, or pistol
Should sometimes have canteens and radios on their webbing

"Instructor" Zombies (guys with the berets):
May spawn in with pistols.
Should sometimes have canteens and radios on their webbing

All Zombies:
Most zombies have a 10% chance of spawning with a hydration pack. Not used during the 90s very much to my knowledge but it's in the game.
Kneepad and elbowpad spawns reduced to 20% each.
Green holsters are a commonplace spawn
Belts are ubiquitous now

Other:
"Agent" zombies have a small chance of spawning in military zones. They look like typical government agents in suits.

I should have the flyer/nomex/pilot gloves done in a few hours. Will replace the leather and fingerless leather gloves that spawn.

Summary:
New black variant added for mil gas mask
New icon for mil gas mask
Stat adjustments
Hazmat zombies can spawn in military zombie zones (3% chance)
Name changes to reflect B42 item names

Military Helmet:
10% chance to stop bullets (from 0% in vanilla and before)
95% chance to stop scratches, cuts, bites (from 80% in vanilla, 100% before)
Small discomfort (.08) when worn now, from 15% in vanilla and no discomfort previously in this mod
Why these changes?
Helmets are primarily to stop fragmentation, but can stop pistol-caliber bullets, though a rifle-caliber bullet will blow straight through a helmet unless it hits at a bad angle or from very far away. There is no detailed bullet penetration in PZ yet, so 10% is a reasonable chance to stop ANY bullet right now.
There's still a chance a hand or whatever can reach under the helmet and cause damage.
PASGT helmets have old-style liners (not padding like today's helmets), and they can suck to wear for a while, but it is not so bad you'll be genuinely depressed because you had to wear it for days on end.

Military Gas Mask
Less discomfort when wearing without filter (removing filters not implemented yet), (0.15 to 0.085) and slightly more vision (from 90% to 96%)
Why? Withotu a filter, there's less weight pulling at the front of your face, it makes it easier to breath, and less likely to fog up the lenses.

Weapon spawns om zombies increased to 40%
Why? Police zombie spawns have 35% chance to spawn with weapons in B42 now.

Small texture edits on the masks, air intake/voice modulator increased in size and the air outtake increased in size
Why? I'm trying to make the masks look like it wasn't made in paint (it was), while keeping it in similar taste to vanilla and still kind of resembling an M40 gas mask.

Stuff I'm ACTUALLY working on:
Gloves - Military (pilot/flyer/nomex gloves, a reskin of the long gloves in-game with actual defensive stats)
Zombies with the new camouflages introduced in B42: OD and Tiger
Military Police


Stuff I'm THINKING about working on:
Balaclava - Military (wool 1-hole balaclava in olive and black for cold weather that was issued by CIF and RIF in the 90s (according to Google)
More zombie types
Compatibility mods for the pants to be tucked/bloused, or modelling and implementing the pants myself and breaking said mods
ALL military helmets being changed to reflect RAZ stats

Messed with the Ghillie zombie clothing tables.
Will spawn with the top correctly, wears leather fingerless gloves and has the military gas mask with no filter.
50/50 of spawning with either normal woodland camo pants or the ghillie pants.
Unfortunately to get the top spawning in the boonie hat had to be removed.
Will have a rifle case slung around their back, usually.
