v2.15

  • Added freeform user text field for plans.
  • Added public interface for middleware mods.
  • Added INI-option "AllowPlanDownloads" to enable players to download plans from the server from the building plan menu.
  • Fixed building plan menu incorrectly showing plans having items or missing mods when some plan above had those.
  • Fixed certain foundation type structures snapped and placed on floors to incorrectly getting errored with "floating in air" when restoring. For example S+ gateways placed on top of foundations.
  • Fixed destroying large number of structures to not cause "outgoing reliable buffer overflow" -errors. Affects both saver (destroy) and restorer (undo).
  • Fixed saving and restoring equipped items (for example artifacts displayed on artifact pedestals).
  • Fixed saving and restoring selected resource class with tek dedicated storage when items are not saved&restored. Works only for plans saved with v2.15 or later.
  • Increased the restorer orientation resolution from 1 degree to 0.01 degrees.
  • Minor performance optimization when saving.

  • Restoring now honors the tribe group rank setting "Prevent structure build in range" in non-admin mode. Using the same distance as for enemy structures (default is 50 meters).

  • Fixed players from disconnecting when opening the restorer controller UI.
  • Fixed "sphere" saving mode to have less demanding startup (was causing massive server load and disconnections when near large amount of structures).
  • Fixed switching from building plan menu to restorer controllers sometimes (especially in single player) leaving the controls unusable.
  • Fixed the "Controls" -button to be enabled when a plan is activated for the first time in the building plan menu.
  • Fixed the currently activated plan sometimes (especially in single player) not showing up when opening the building plan menu.

  • Added INI-option "LocalSaveDir" to define a different save location for non-shareable data.
  • Added INI-option "FileBasedCrossArk" to enable cross-Ark sharing of plans between servers.
  • Added messages to tribe log when saving or restoring finishes.
  • Changed save file format for plans: each players plans are now saved into one single file.
    Old plans are automatically converted when player enters the game.
  • Destroying structures is no longer possible if the players tribe group rank forbids it.
  • Fixed 1-time restorer to be able to restore non-primitive plans.
  • Improved show warnings/errors message in primitive saver to indicate the non-primitive structure pieces.
  • Saving, restoring and related actions are now limited by tribe ranks.

  • Added INI-option "AdminMode" to select how administrator mode is enabled, the original "infinitestats", or the new "cheaters" style where players who have cheats enabled are in administrator mode.
  • Added options to set the tribe ranks of restored structure pieces:
    • Use tribe rank 0 (as in v2.8 and earlier).
    • Copy tribe ranks from the restorer structure.
    • Use players tribe rank settings for new structures.
    • Use saved tribe rank settings (works only with plans saved with v2.9 or later).
  • Fixed rare case where plan id could end up getting a value already in use.
  • Fixed the plan selection in the building plan menu after deleting a plan.
  • Fixed the message shown to the player when using a building plan item to include the building plan name.
  • Fixed the timestamp portion of the default name for newly created building plan items.
  • Fixed unknown (to the server) building plan items to give proper error message when used.
  • Fixed wheel menu order for offset controls in structure restorer.
  • Reduced the time to activate wheel menu options "reset offset" and "reset orientation" from 3 seconds to 1 second in structure restorer.

  • Fixed non-admins to not be able to use one-time restorers to ignore location checks (they were able to restore structures floating in air etc).

  • Added INI-option "SaveDir" to adjust the location of savegame files, default is "StructureSaver2/".

  • Added some error reporting when reading INI-settings for saving and restoring class overrides.
  • Beta support for cross-ark system, see https://github.com/Peanhua/StructureSaverWeb for details.
  • Fixed item saving and restoring to clone the items exactly (also speeds up the process). Works only with plans saved with v2.7 and later.
