New Types.xml Changes!

The Kivaari 338 And M300 Have received new spawn types in the types.xml Please replace your old ones with these if you want my recommended settings, They now only spawn in helicopter crash sites.
Your old types.xmls will stay fully functional however so it isn't a mandatory change.

The MassBags now no longer spawn at Helicopter crash sites. (Also a types.xml replacer, Please change if you want them to stop cluttering your heli crash sites.

Hotfix and Rebalancing due to 1.06 sway

Attachments to the M300 can now take damage if shot.
Optics when Attached to the M300 no longer skew 90 degrees if chambered.
M300 can now be ruined if shot
M417 Chamber Animation Fixed

Various guns' attachments can now be damaged if shot when physically on the gun.

M300 reduced from 80 slots to 36 and now has realistic length, is 12 slots long however, So it's only possible to fit in very large backpacks.
M300 Has Increased sway due to its weight.
Kivaari has increased sway due to its weight.

Large Canvas Backpack now can be ruined and no longer shows damage when worn

Removed unused code in relation to overriding gun attachment slots to hopefully help for compatibility with select other mods

The first of its kind again (As far as I'm aware) A Ballistic shield! Though it unfortunately doesn't behave as it would in real life, This ballistic shield can be deployed, making it portable cover. It can also be worn in the backpack slot to behave as passive protection from being shot in the back, Turning your characer into a ninja-turtle of sorts. It does have durability and cannot be repaired.

The sawed off stevenson and the supershort variant now have proper barrel length in the config, Meaning they don't collide with collision as if they were a full-length shotgun.

So I tried something unique and made various muzzle attachments that change the behavior of your weapon recoil, Great for further customizing your gun's performance if you don't want to use a suppressor but still want something to go on that naked barrel.
MUZZLE BRAKES! Muzzle brakes will lower the vertical recoil of any rifle you put it on.

Improvised Scrap Metal Armors Fully customizable by creating Low-High Tier versions, Includes a paint can that can paint them various different colors. (Must use a rag on the paint can to craft painted variants of the armor) All of which are Red,Blue,Orange,Green,Pink,Black,White,Yellow. all from one object. has 4 uses per paint can so you and your squad can roll together with matching swag. Craftable by using a hacksaw on Metal Plates to create Metal Scrap pieces, which you combine with duct-tape to create the first tier of armor, Use more scrap on some ducttape to create an armor upgrade kit which can upgrade your low tier armor into a medium tier for 50% usage, and then another 50% to fully upgrade it to the highest tier.
This Armor may not be incredible against bullets, However it's very useful against all melee damage including fighting hordes of zombies. (Values subject to change, so please give me feedback on it.)

A new Holster for the Savage Stevens Super Short Variant, Currently fits on the ImprovArmor.

The 308 Suppressor for the m110 has received a remake for the m417, It's now larger for its caliber and has received a new model and texture

The m417 when suppressed has completely new custom sound effects.

The 308 STANAG Magazine now correctly states that it's for the m417, Not the M110.

Compatibility for Ammunition Expansion Added for the 408 M300 and its magazines. 338 and such are already compatible.

Types adjustments to the Ratnik, M300, Kivaari. So they restock the spawns every 12 hours, Making them rarer. (Just Default settings changed, If you don't like this for your server, You SHOULD know how to change it back. just adjust 'restock' value.

The Ratnik and the heavy plate carriers can now be officially repaired by using the ar500 plates on them.

The Ratnik's neck flap thing has been shunk in first person for less intrusion on first person gameplay.

The Shinigami can now be aimed in your hands without bugging out your animations. Same applies to new optic.

The Molle belts have received a minor overhaul, New better fitting model with far superior textures. and variations for male and female skeletons. Also some NEW versions and variations for your fashion tastes.

Crafting scripts void set to override properly, may help with some script related issues.

Holographic not working with NVGS is a known issue, am working on it.

You can now create 'double' armbands by combining armbands together. they show on both arms.

You can now further saw off parts of the savage stevens to create a 'shotgun pistol' of sorts. much smaller, way more recoil, way more spread.

As for the 308 suppressor, I will reintroduce it. But not with this patch, I have some work to do on it. I'll be completely redoing its model.

Duplicate CBHELM removed from types.xml

Hotfix for the chess set, You can now craft the white queen and the inventory slot on the far bottom is no longer showing duplicates.

Types.xml for ammunitions have been changed slightly in hopes that stacks of loose ammo doesn't show 0. However, If you have already done this change on your server manually, You don't have to update your types.xml. the affected ammunition types are 408 and 338

Finally yet another patch has arrived to Mass's many item overhaul!
With this patch There is a BRAND NEW GUN! WOOO! And a new attachment that fits to a few of the guns in the pack already.


The Savage stevens 301.
The savage stevens 301 is a single-fire Break-action 12 Gauge shotgun, It can be sawed in half and is the first gun to ever have its own built in inventory, thanks to the new buttstock attachment. The model itself for the gun was created entirely by the "OmgItstallin" Who you may know as the man who made the mini-14.
DID I MENTION IT CAN BE SAWED OFF FOR A SHORTER VERSION??

The Buttstock Ammo-Pouch.
This is the new attachment, It's got a nice little model, created by myself, Textures as well. It fits around the buttstock of the M1-9, Armsan, PPSH, SVT-40, and the Mini-14. (It comes built into the savage stevens)
It has a 2x2 inventory grid granting 4 new inventory slots to any rifle you attach it to. enough for a decent amount of loose ammunition.

the 7.62x39 M4A1 and its conversion kits have been removed from the mod. their niche has died, I may do something along these lines later and more refined. But they were causing server crashes.

Please remove the conversion kits and the massm4a1 from your types.xml, Or just use the new one I've provided where I included the new guns and items + removed that.

First content patch for mass's many item overhaul in a little while! As always the types.xml has been updated to include the new items.

The textures on the Molle bags and the tactical pouches have been updated to match. And the desert molle bag now matches the vanilla plate carrier color.

The WW2 German mag pouch vest now holds 4 grenades. you can tuck them between you and the vest!

New Items!

Large Molle Pouch
The large Molle pouch is a pouch specifically meant to upgrade the rucksack's capacity. it can be attached to the back and gives an extra 18 slots, Raising the total slot count for that backpack to 153.

Tactical Sling packs!!

The sling packs are miniaturized versions of the molle Assault Pack with the capacity of 42 slots. they're significantly smaller and can fit pistol holsters on the back. what brought me to making these is the fact I don't see many good smaller bags out there, every mod introduces really large ones. So here's a smaller one that is less noticeable on your character.

Glock-18
This popular select fire pistol is now available in my mod, with support for the original magazine as well as a new 30 round magazine, I'll contact mod authors to try and get support for the weapons redux Glock 19 so you can use my new mag with that as well, but nothing as of this patch.
The glock-18 boasts a huge rate of fire but a high spread, making it incredibly effective at close range but useless at medium range, unless you switch to semi-auto mode, luckily you can. It comes in tan and green variants.

M1-9
The M1-9 is just what it sounds like. An M1 Carbine chambered in 9mm. People have requested an m1 carbine for quite a while, and others have requested some 9mm rifles. To my delight I discovered that such a thing exists that is BOTH of those things in one! the chiappa M1-9. It comes in two colors, Black and Wood. The model provided by the incredibly talented KnechtRuprecht.

The M1-9 can natively take the new 30 round Glock magazine, weapons redux 15rnd Magazine and the cz75 magazine.

STEW WORKS NOW!
You can create a stew by mixing an edible mushroom OR any vegetable/tomato with any piece of meat that ISN'T Human to create 25% of a stew. you can combine 4 stews together to get a full capacity stew and then you can boil it to cook it. make sure to share it with your friends, because it's very filling. DO NOT SPLIT IT AFTER YOU COOK IT, IT'LL BE RAW.






If you're having signature issues try using verifysignatures=2, even though I'm using v3 keys some people have reported that it works. I don't have a clue why this is a problem, I've verified using the new ds utils from dayz tools and everything should work. I assume it's some sort of strange bug that'll get patched eventually. most servers are having no problems, and others are.

Bikey and Bisigns updated to the new V3 standard.
You'll probably need to copy the new code to your server keys folder. I apologize for the inconvenience, but you'll likely have to do this for several mods as they switch over to the new standard of bikeys.
