Update 3.5.4
Festive Boxman Returns Update

With the holidays over us, the Super Festive Boxman returns to TAP's realm, bringing with him his wonderful gifts for everyone to enjoy in our annual, limited holiday event!

This update will also include some SFX and VFX updates for existing units, adding a little more aesthetics to the mod!

And to keep people posted, we have made significant progress with the new and 4th Ostheer Specialization coming soon! Only a few more units and a handful of playtests to go before we are confident in releasing a new faction for the mod, so keep your eyes peeled for further updates and teasers!

And lastly, as compensation for my laziness in finishing the stories I promised to submit, there is a poem posted in the update’s discord announcement for our easter egg hunters out there.

For those who discover it, please try to keep the easter egg's usage within PvE scenarios. Continuous reports of this being an issue in PvP will result in its (unfortunate) removal or balance tweak! :)

Ostheer
- Updated the Type 4 20cm Rocket Mortar to no longer stun vehicles on penetration. Instead, it disorients the target vehicle.
- Updated Type 4 20cm Rocket Mortar description
- Fixed Ho-Ri and O-I camouflage ability not affecting hull cannons.

Allied Forces

British Army
- Fixed Raid Operations Specialization not triggering the requirement check for tech-up conditions.

The Base Structures Rework Update (Patch Update)

Alas, we say goodbye to non-spec plays in TAPs. This update includes tweaks to the British, USF, and OKW buildings to now require specializations before you can tech-up, bringing them to the same restrictions the Ostheer and Soviets got in the last update, and to prep them for their own eventual base reworks.

Axis Forces

Ostheer
- Updated Heavy Infantry sWS Armored Half-track to now grant garrisoned infantry +30% damage resistance.
- Updated Heavy Infantry sWS Armored Half-track description.
- Removed vehicle stun from Type 4 20cm Rocket Mortar deflection actions. Will still stun on penetration.
- Increased damage of Ha-To rocket strike against infantry [120 > 130]
- Increased AoE damage distance marks. (Mid/Far) [3.75/8 > 5/10]
- Fixed IKVI to only require Battle Phase 2 instead of the old base buildings.
- Fixed IJA Mortar showing the wrong UI when abandoned.

OKW
- Updated Flammenfusilier upgrades to now require being in supplied territory to get.
- Updated Baumeister to now benefit from Thorough Salvaging commander passive.
- Fixed Bio-Nest Gen.1 units not updating correctly when getting the Cognitive Preservation upgrade.
- Fixed being able to respec into Wunderluftwaffe after repairing a destroyed HQ.

Allied Forces

Soviet Army
- Fixed Soviet Rally Point retreat ability relying on old building. Now requires T4 building to be unlocked.
- Fixed Siege KV-2 Heavy Assault Tank deployment relying on odl building. Now requires T4 building to be unlocked.
- Increased range of Kirov weapon disabling when near HQs. [60 > 70]

British Army


US Army
- Updated description for WB Supply Drop Zones
- Increased M105 Engineering Tank’s rocket strike against infantry. [120 > 130]
- Decreased the supply drop interval for WB Supply Drop Zones [180s > 150s]

General/Cross-Army Changes
- Updated British, US and OKW tech-ups to now require a specialization first, fully eliminating vanilla play from TAPs.
- Increased all hijacking abilities ranges. [2 > 3]
