Yuri's Quest - Slav Simulator

Yuri's Quest - Slav Simulator is an open world, often unforgiving experience in which you are taken to the fictional Kalinin Oblast of the People's Republic of Slavakia.

In your absence for the past year, a lot of things have changed. With only a map and some basic supplies, your car breaks down outside of town and you are forced to utilize your surroundings to your advantage. Yuri must find the fate of his sister, who after suffering a traumatic incident in which she was raped, she disappeared after joining an Altruist Cult of paganistic individuals who lived in the high mountain woodlands, living off the land and often wearing strange Ghillie suits to emulate the magical beings the worshipped called 'Kukeri'.

On the way, Yuri will run into trouble. He can use his vast amount of contacts in the local village to secure a fire arm and a car, or he can simply steal one. He can navigate his crime filled home town, ripe to the brim with bandits and former associates out to claim a bounty that is on your head, or you can go north into 'Little Pripyat', an abandoned ghost town that was evacuated after a sewage leak deamed it unsafe. However, you will encounter thrillseekers and scavengers called 'Stalkers' or run into locals who refused to relocate. Either way, it is dangerous but the loot is a great reward.

Being prepared is everything. Yuri can do things his own way or he can return to the separatist camp that is raging a war against the Slavakian military, to re-arm and re-supply or recieve medical treatment. Depending on the player, Yuri can either ambitiously take on jobs for the separatists or simply take his own way to fighting the ghillie-suited cultists. Either way, there is a terrible fate and realization coming his way that not even he could have predicted.

An insanely ambitious, albeit simple, scenario in which there are many sub factions, locations redecorated intensely with props or individual soldiers armed with custom, in-lore load outs. A lot of replayability, as there are numerous side missions and adventures to take part one. Will you find the Slavakian Bigfoot? Will you kill a UN reporter for your separatist friends? Are you willing to see your brother in a state that you could have never predicted?

Beware bandits and mafia members in the city, avoid, sneak past or assault enemies head on and either find your sister within the compounds of the wilderness dwelling cult or fight as a dedicated soldier in the separatist cause! Either way, you are Yuri and this is your quest. Be wary, for you can either have a stroke of luck or a sudden encounter with the wrong person could end your life suddenly and painfully.
