it may fixed itself after some trying, but very random. RQ-11 deploy works fine.
It should be fairly ok in singleplayer environments at higher fps, but we are seeing issues on servers and at lower fps which appears to be messing with the simulation. We are actively working on a solution but mainly wanted this out early to test the rest of the changes.
So far I used a lot of Black Hornets and enjoyed them a lot. They (alongside with other small drones from the mod) gave me a lot of cool moments while playing DRO with ACE.
As a feedback:
1. I noticed that the drone (when stabilized via auto hover) drifts sideways and crash sometimes into trees/buildings.
2. When controlled via UAV controller BH cannot go to waypoints - it kinda tries by tilting a bit, flies towards the waypoint several meters, but then immideately stops and stay stabilized and waypiont disappears.
3. Can the speed and msx distance be limited? I managed to fly the BH at 170 km/h quite stable and while I'm kinda okay with it in terms of flying across South Sahrani, it breaks the immersion of smol tactical drone for enemy's dump pouch cheking.
4. Can cameras be angled down a bit like in the real BH? Not a real hard problem, but it would be more convenient for observation.
Once again, thak you a lot for the great mod!
Maybe it's not a good idea to put all these information in the players namespace. We are acting in teams where different soldiers could pickup and recharge the drone, depends on where they land. So everyone should see the correct battery state and be able to control, recharge etc.
