Description
About the mission

This mission is a short demostration of the rework of my nuke script.

You can test different nukes by interaction with the laptop that is in front of you: first select a location, than select a yield and fianlly detonate with either SFX only or with damage enabled.

Behind your base is a helicopter so you can explore the aftermath.

The mission was created with the help of ZEI and 3DEN Enhanced, two mods that I can only recommend to any scenario creator.


About the script

In December 2019 I created my Realistic Nuke script. At the time it was my first real Arma scripting project. It started out as an idea months before and over the course of several more months it became my most complex project yet.
After some time, however, I lost interest in further developing the old script, mainly due to many bugs and bad coding practices inside the script.
So in order to further develop my idea I decided to rewrite the script. I reworked almost every part of the original, this time with more order and more advanced methods.
What you can see in this mission is the result of this rework. It is by far not finished yet, and even some features of the old script are still missing. But with time this version will grow too and hopefully surpass my first attempt at some point.

@elwhitetiger, it needs some practice but it is not that complicated. The Arma 3 Wiki is a great starting point, as well as tutorials online.

I saw a lot of files...I think I have to check one by one and download...one per time...I believe I have me explained that I would like to create higher shields with this script for my existing aircraft missiles and bombs...but I don't know how can I do it...because I have never worked with scripts

@elwhotetiger. For zeus enhanced you will have to check out their code. I think they include some options to create your own modules, you would need to add a moduel for zeus enhanced and than call my script (with the parametrs listed in the wiki). The yield of the blast can than be set to whatever you want.

@elwhitetiger, the ALCM is always a bit tricky, that right. The wiki on GitHub (steam://openurl_external/https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FFreestyleBuild%2FfreestylesNuclearBlast%2Fwiki) has a short desciprtion on how to use the script, that includes the parameters, one of which is the power. You can increase the power, but there are limits (it will be lag).

the question i have is if how could i do to create wareheads with more power using this script...im so new in this...i have never modded for Arma...thanks you for your very fast answer...and the inconvenient i have with the ALCM its the missile never goes to the target...it behaves like an unguided rocket
