Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for it :)
The tweak Better Quest Rewards patches the def Reward_ItemsStandard to add specified items to the filler options section of quest reward loot. More than likely the mod is patching the same def and adding its own table to the main quest loot selection. You'd have to check what its actually using for criteria to have items in the table, it could use tags or it might be naming the defs.
That's not a thing in my game. You must have a mod that's changing it.
No, that tweak merely changes the appeal of meals that have long expiry dates like Pemmican and Survival Meals so they are eaten below other meal types. What you're describing is very performance heavy and beyond my ability to implement. I think Common Sense had an option for that though which should include meals.
