This small mod enables the game to render a system-wide font installed in your OS or bundled one. For example, this recognizes the fonts installed in the following directories:

• Windows: C:\Windows\Fonts
  
• Linux: /usr/share/fonts

To place fonts in the above directories, you may need an admin privilege. For Windows, this can be done by

1. Select font files then right-click.
   
2. Press "Install for all users" (this is under "Show more options" menu if you are on Windows 11)

Then just select your desired font in the mod settings. The left column is for general UI fonts and the right one is for the world map.
Also with this mod, Linux users can play RimWorld in the CJK languages, thus probably useful to Steam Deck users as well.
Safe to add to/remove from existing save games.
Now you can change the vertical offset and scaling factor of rendered fonts in the mod settings.
If the game's UI goes broken, press the reset button at the top left.
