Mod Summary:
Arkitect Structures is a collection of structure mods, each with its own theme.
- Currently there are 2 mods, AS:Core and AS:Atlas.
- They are designed to fit with the parts from CKF, and use similar snaps. CKF= Castles, Keeps, Forts, a collection of popular structure mods with better sized (taller) walls, roofs, etc.
- Both mods contain new parts and building shapes not found in vanilla Ark, or Atlas.
- There is a "Structure Gun" you can learn and craft on your person or in the Core bench. Includes Pickup/Demo/Glass/Variant modes.

Arkitect Structures: Core
- This is the primary mod, and is required to use any other Arkitect Structure mods. It contains all the core files required for AS:Atlas and any future "addon mods"
- It also has a full set of vanilla-themed structure parts that fit perfectly with CKF. All 7 structure tiers including Thatch, Wood, Stone, Adobe, Metal, Tek, and Greenhouse.
- The parts in this mod are meant to be used in place of S+ parts when you want to mix vanilla-looking structures with the Atlas mod or CKF mods more easily, or if you want to simply enjoy the taller height and new parts like corner and valley roofs and stairs, which don't exist in vanilla or S+.

Arkitect Structures: Atlas
- An optional addon mod that contains the 3 structure tiers from the game Atlas (Thatch, Wood, Stone), which have been rebuilt from scratch. The parts are resized to fit properly with Ark structures, and also made to match CKF wall/roof height. The Atlas meshes have been tweaked to give more structure variant options.

New Parts
Corner and Valley parts
- Atlas already had Corner/Valley roofs, but we've added Corner and Valley stone-tier stairs.
- Ark had no Corner/Valley parts, so every vanilla themed tier in the Core mod now has Corner/Valley roofs.
- Ark had no triangle parts for Thatch tier. I've added those, a window frame, and a window hatch.

Taller ladders
- These ladders fit the taller walls. They can be locked like S+ ladders.

Engrams
- There are only a few Engrams, and all the structure items are crafted in the crafting bench of each mod, to cut down on player engram bloat.
- There is an Engram for each tier. For example, learning the Atlas Stone Tier engram will teach you all the Stone Tier parts, which will then be available in the Atlas Crafting table.

Snap Compatibility
- AS:Core and AS:Atlas have 100% snap compatibility between each other.
- Arkitect Structures has been designed for as much snap compatibility with ExileAcid's CKF mods as possible, particularly CKFR. It should be easy to mix and match parts with CKFR, CKF:SF, and CKF:Legacy.
- S+ snap compatibility will be limited, since the idea is you'll either use S+ parts, or use mine. There will be very little reason to mix them by the time I'm finished making parts for the Core mod.

Parts and Structure Variants we currently plan to add (subject to change):
Planned for both Mods
DONE - Roof caps (Peak, Straight Ridge, Beveled Ridge, L-Ridge, T-Ridge, X-Ridge, Triangle Ridge)
DONE - Double doors
DONE - Half pillars
DONE - More glass parts
DONE - More window parts
DONE - Scaffold variants for Wood and Metal tiers, and Atlas Thatch tier
DONE - Straight staircases (aka half-wide stairs)
- Roof Eaves and Roof Rakes (bottom and side overhangs)
DONE - Quarter wide parts (ceiling, wall, and roof) for at least the 2 wood tiers
DONE - Structure Variants for foundations to make the sides blend in with walls

Planned for AS:Core
DONE - Hide-able Pipes and Wires (sized to fit these mods)
DONE - Corner/Valley stairs
DONE - Half stairs
DONE - Staircases
DONE - Sloped rails and sloped half walls
DONE - Thinner pillar structure variants
DONE - Roof doorways/hatches
DONE - Internal Pipes and Wires or some variation of that idea. Will work with both Core and Atlas, perhaps other mods. (Water Junctions and Electric Junctions)

Planned for AS:Atlas
DONE - Fatter Pillar structure variants
DONE - More Thatch Parts

The general goal is to fill in gaps in all the existing structure tiers to bring the 2 mods in line with each other, as well as Vanilla Ark and CKFR where it makes sense. Then perhaps we will expand beyond into brand-new types of parts.

Thanks
Big thanks to Eddychomps, the modder behind RP Edditions. He helped me with the Atlas mod significantly, porting all the materials from Atlas to work with Ark, creating new meshes, and providing feedback on the design for both mods. He taught me some Blender stuff, showed me some nice ways to set up engrams in the mods to reduce the number of engrams required, while still allowing server admins some control over progression.

Thanks to MrRadioactiv for providing the "Stained Glass" material and some of the patterns. Thanks to JunoBlade aka dbobrovnikova for making the other patterns used by the Stained/Lattice glass styles.

Last but not least, thanks to Dragontears, Eryn, Strangechilde, Mythic_Kit, JunoBlade, Pelic, and Red Mustang for their testing and bug reports!

Check out my other mods

Arkitect
A mod to improve the crafting, spawning, and building experience.

Useful Tools
Contains many tools that are great for builders.
- A paint gun that includes a Dye Menu and a mode that can paint multiple pieces at once
- Paint removal tools like the Pressure Washer
- A Structure Gun that has Pickup/Demo/Delete modes and a mode that cycles and copies structure appearances

Snap Fixer Plus
A mod that adds snap compatibility between mods like S+ and CKF. It can also resize CKF Legacy to fit with other structure mods. Long term plan is to fix old abandoned structure mods and add S+ snaps to them as well.

Is it actually possible to integrate the core mod into the other mods so that you don't need two mods in that sense? Just an idea :) Your mods are great, I love them. Keep up the good work :)

How do you get the menu that lets you lower an raise the foundations?
Alexs Dec 4, 2023 @ 8:28am
Can you also turn off foundation support like with the S+ mod?
And if so, with which entry in the gameUserSettings.ini?

Thank you for the great mod

Looking forward using your mods in ASA :) Thank you!

I just want to post real quick that although I am about to release a new structure mod for ASA, I want to continue working on these old structure mods as well. I know plenty of people will still be hanging around in ASE waiting on the rest of the maps to release for ASA (or just because they like the outdated buggy mess of OG Ark). So updates will come, with bug fixes, some new parts, etc. But the updates will come slowly. Real life makes it a challenge to juggle 3 structure mods, let me tell you.

By the way for those of you playing ASA, the my new structure mod is called - you guessed it - Arkitect Structures Remastered (ASR for short).

hi, let me start by saying this mod is an utter godsave, this has utterly replaced S+ for me and has reignited my creativity in basebuilding, utterly awesome mod, would recommend.

with that said, i would like to ask if theres any plans to implement elevators to match your building pieces?
Tenebris Jul 30, 2023 @ 12:00pm
Would it be possible to just make the option wheel be contextual like all the other cases uses you listed? Like what if you created a special Arkitect tool (similar to the S+ Multitool) and the options wheel it only appear when holding R while holding that instead of all the time? That's the real issue.
Gimilkhad  [author] Jul 30, 2023 @ 11:10am
A. Holding R to open that option wheel is a game feature, not a mod feature. I simply add an entry for AS to that wheel. The R menu wheel is used for other things in the official game, like transporting to other areas of Fjordur and toggling Tek helmet features when wearing the tek helm.

B. Making user-adjustable hotkeys is incredibly annoying and difficult to set up in this version of Unreal, and me changing it from R manually to something else would not completely resolve your hotkey issue (since the game itself uses that R key for the previously mentioned features).

C. Finding a hotkey to use that isn't in use by the game or another mod is nearly impossible. Any key I pick, something somewhere will be using it too.
Tenebris Jul 29, 2023 @ 9:58am
I would also like to know about the holding R key issue as listed below, because I also use Fast Ammo Changer
