Description
Re-balances the Rim-Effect prefab generator and the VFE-Power and Nuclear Dawn reactors to produce 15,000wd per uranium. This is the same efficiency as the SoS2 fission ship reactor, which I felt was a good balance point.

-Both reactors now consume one uranium per day (or equivalent) and output 15kwd at normal output.

-The Nuclear Dawn centrifuge now asks for 30 uranium to make one enriched uranium instead of 100 to 1.

-Nuclear Dawn centrifuge is also "only" drawing 5kwd, which is still a lot but it shouldn't immediately blackout your base any more.

-The Rim-Effect prefab generator still only produces 3kwd, but now only consumes a single uranium every five days.

-The Rim-Effect fusion reactor has double the fuel efficiency at one uranium per day and outputting 30kwd.

And that's it. This is a simple patch that only changes some number values around so it should be compatible with just about anything.



These changes do not affect each reactor's unique qualities - the VFE-Power and Rim-Effect reactors will still double their output if you overfill them, the Nuclear Dawn reactor... does nothing, but the uranium enrichment process still produces depleted uranium as a useful byproduct, and the enriched uranium can still be used to make RTGs instead. I felt these were enough of a unique distinction to make the tradeoff between different reactors worth it, without worrying about min-maxing your power output.

Regarding the Rim-Effect stuff; the fusion reactor felt particularly anaemic, since even though the prefab generator had the worst efficiency of the lot, this was supposed to be a FUSION REACTOR. And it was producing... HALF the energy of a fission reactor? For the same fuel cost? What? So I made it twice as fuel efficient as the other reactors, but still slightly lower than the Eezo reactor, which I have left untouched.

Frankly, that's still not nearly as good as a "proper" fusion reactor, and by the time you get access to the tech one vs two uranium shouldn't matter much. But I'm also not making it any harder to acquire, build, or maintain, so it had to be balanced similarly. Yup, it's updated! I was just waiting for the other mods to update before I did, since... this is a patch for them, lol.

As of right now just Rim-Effect is missing, but considering this just changes a couple values around it should be fine there too.

@flammable gasses 2 There is no research involved in this patch. If you have any of: Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Power, Fortification Industrial -Nuclear Dawn, or Rim-Effect: Core, this mod will patch the reactors to produce more power per uranium. That's all it does.

You can tell right away if it worked by building one of the other mods' reactors and seeing how much output it has. If the nuclear reactors say they're outputting 15,000wd, or if Rim-Effect's fusion reactor says it's outputting 30,000wd, then this patch is working as intended.

@flammable gasses 2 please explain the nature of it not working? I just loaded up a test map with only this and the other relevant mods installed. Everything worked fine, weather this patch was loaded before or after the other mods.

sounds good always tought Rim-Effect stuff was terrible underpowered
