Mentioning the missing rail and road network, i checked missing mods on the right side. And i forgot the "Network Extensions 2", "Extra Train Station Tracks" and "MoreTrainTracks". I added them all to the right side. i hope it will fix your problems.
Hmmm, the mistake of not loading the map is something i did not know before - sadly it's my first map and i've no big mod-and-workshop-knowlegde. I found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/comments/37ufuj/bug_how_to_fix_object_reference_not_set_to_an/ and also this: "This is apparenly caused by the Traffic++ (zonable pedestrian paths addon) due to a recent update. Enable ghost mode for the time being." As i said, my knowlegde isn't that good, but may https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=667342976&searchtext=loading+screen+mod is helping you to find the missing tile or asset.
The error you are mentioning happens mostly because there should be an object on the map you don't have. Nearly every time it is just a tiny bit of road somewhere. You can try this road replacing mod, it helped me a lot.
