Added support for loading custom citizen assets.

I have abandoned the 'skip unused standard buildings' feature. You can achieve similar results with the Building Themes mod.

This mod displays information on the loading screen and adds new options:

  • Load used assets: automatically loads the assets you have placed in your city, no matter if they are enabled or not.
  • Share textures / materials / meshes: Assets from the same author often contain the same resources. By default, the game does not care and loads identical copies. These options replace such copies by references, saving RAM.
  • The mod contains an optimized custom asset loader that is significantly faster than the built-in loader.

An optional HTML report of custom assets is also available. For additional information, see the figures above.

@kimmci I recommend to try something simple like "c:\lsm" or "d:\lsm". If all else fails, there should be an exception (about write permissions probably) in your output_log.txt.

I cannot find the html report for missing mods. I've checked the right box and made sure the path was correct. I've even tried changing the path to new folders. All to no avail. Can anyone please help me?

Would it be possible to make an option to auto-download missing assets that the mod could find on steam workshop?

It loads super fast (im on an SSD) but all i get is the ocean XD

@azmicomico Yes I agree that might be useful. Nowadays you can unsub buildings first, then look for props in the section titled 'The following loaded assets are currently unnecessary'.

RAM usage is shown on Windows only. There is no cross-platform method for it and I can only test Windows.
