Description
Update May 24, 2018

Updated for Parklife.
The new Custom Asset Data API is not yet supported.

This mod displays information on the loading screen and adds new options:

  • Load used assets: automatically loads the assets you have placed in your city, no matter if they are enabled or not.
  • Share textures / materials / meshes: Assets from the same author often contain the same resources. By default, the game does not care and loads identical copies. These options replace such copies by references, saving RAM.
  • The mod contains an optimized custom asset loader that is significantly faster than the built-in loader.

An optional HTML report of custom assets is also available. For additional information, see the figures above.

Some usage tips are provided in the guides below.

English:
I have 32 GB in my computer and based on your mod I see that up to 27 GB is always counted up and just before loading the game the number falls rapidly and I had it that only 10 GB were there and yet the number was red.

I use about 5.000 assets including game and have the 81-Tile-Mod running.
My question relates to the memory and what does that mean that counting down again and even though everything is in the green area, the number remains red?

This mod works perfectly with all DLCs and my mods collection ( (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1408992773 ). Very useful, this mod accelerated the loading and shows errors.

@NewMasterChoco,
coming back to the topic. I was offline since a long time due to businesstrip.
The files, as you´ve described, I found but still the question for me: What to do with this information mentioned in the files or in the screen (i.e. dublicates found, asset not found,....)??
This is still not clear for me.

I got the error message simulation fail. Is there a way to fix this?

When the game is loading, the colour indicates how happy your computer's memory is? I assume red=bad? I'm sitting at 13 gigs and it always turns red right before the map loads. Is this taking into account texture/asset sharing? The game runs silky smooth, but the red loading screen worries me.

Hello,
Very nice mod. Is possible to add the asset's/prop's or mod's number ?
Because sometimes in the error, the message put number and not the name of the asset (or mod or prop or etc...)
By the way, is possible to be compatible for Mac memory ?
Many thanks for this mod ang great job.

I was thinking if you could talk to Judazzz (creator of Prop it Up), if you both could find a way to join your mods somehow. It would be a nice function if we could save RAM by your mod preselecting the changes his mod makes and then simply not load the resources which are not needed, because they were removed through his mod. Just a thought...
