(TEF) Pegasus A Dropship (modless)

The Pegasus A-class Dropship is an interplanetary small grid support craft designed for troop transport and deployment, while also being able to assist ground forces with fire support. The ship is fully vanilla and survival ready.

Dropships were always my favourite sci-fi vessels so I wanted to build an own dropship in Space Engineers. The design is a little bit special compared to other ships in the workshop, but I hope that you also like dropships which have two side ramps. It is inspired by modern military combat helicopters like the Tiger. I hope you like it!

• Manoeuvrability - A good amount of thrusters and gyroscopes makes the ship relatively manoeuvrable compared to other ships of its class.
  
• Armor Protection – The ship is well armoured for its size and offers good protection for the pilot section and the passenger cabin.
  
• Armament - The ship has a strong Armament of eight bow mounted gatling guns and three AI controlled gatling turrets.
  
• Utility Merge Blocks – The ship is equipped with three Merge Blocks, one under the cockpit section and two under the wings. These hardpoints can be used to mount additional weapons and modules on the ship.
  
• LAMP Fire Control – The ship is compatible with WHAM Missiles and features a fully functional LAMP Fire Control Suite.
  
• Interplanetary Usage - The ship is able of flight and land in the atmosphere of a planet or a moon.
  
• Survival-ready (but not recommended) - fully conveyered and without any kind of mod or dlc.

The Pegasus or T-12 dropship, was one concept developed by the TEF Design Bureau to build a dropship for the TEF Navy and Ground Forces able to deploy troops and provide fire support.
It is a relatively large, two-seated, interplanetary dropship able to transport four soldiers in a cabin located at the middle of the craft. This cabin is accessible threw two ramps at the left and the right side of the ship. The designers decided to use this special layout because, during many tests, it has proven to be much more flexible than a ramp at the rear. The cabin is equipped with multiple information screens, a backup reactor, a survival kit and cargo containers to store weapons and ammunition. The ship is controlled by two cockpits built in a tandem configuration, one at the front to fly the ship and one behind the flight cockpit to control the turrets and other weapon systems. In case one of the cockpits is damaged, the ship can be still controlled by the other one.
For its second role as ground support ship, its armament consists out of eight bow mounted Gatling guns and three AI or co-pilot-controlled Gatling turrets against fighters and ground targets. In addition to this strong built in weaponry the ship has three utility merge blocks which can be used to mount additional weapons or modules on the ship.
To dock or refuel the ship it has one ventral and one dorsal connector port. The designers decided to use a mixture of hydrogen, atmospheric and ion thrusters the ship was built to be operated in atmospheric and non-atmospheric environments. It can be operated on moon surfaces with 0.25G conditions and on planetary atmospheres in 1.00G or more. If the thrusters are damaged the pilot can utilize the two emergency parachute hatches.

These dropships began their service in January 2240 with their first combat engagement at the Defence of Gatopea 23 Station, were they were used to land troops on the Black Sail Command Ship. During many combat engagements the Pegasus Dropships demonstrated their effectiveness as troop transport and weapon platform, which lead the TEF Ministry of Defence to the decision of mass producing these dropships.
