Description

Uses resources from Mass Muffect Races by Tasrook, with permission.
(Original Mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2013915598 )
Uses resources from my other ME mod, Rimeffect: Asari of the Rims Continued [1.1][1.2]
(Original Mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2210522775 )
Makes use of the MoHAR hediffs mod, made by Gouda quiche, ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2057001924 ) so head over and give that mod a positive rating as well if you like this mod.

A race mod using the Humanoid Alien Framework which adds many of the races of the Mass Effect Franchise. All have unique textures and features to set them apart from both humans and each other. They also have factions added, with a combined faction for the Drell and Hanar, and an extra faction that combines the Krogan and Vorcha.

Includes the Asari, Batarians, Drell, Hanar, Krogan, Quarians, Salarians, Turians, and Vorcha.

Also included as non-playlable races are the Geth (Heretics) and the Reapers.

Includes settings to disable/enable each race.

Race Details

Asari: Similar to humans in most respects, but live hundreds of years.

Batarians: Again, mostly similar to humans, but have four eyes, and a somewhat longer lifespan.

Drell: Resistant to higher temperature due to their desert homeworld.

Hanar: Have a unique biology different from other races, with different internal organs, somewhat limited in the tasks they can perform and the clothes they can wear.

Krogan: Very durable, possess redundant organs, have high pain tolerance, and heal rapidly. Strong immune systems, somewhat higher temperature tolerances, natural armor and resistance to toxins and fire. Slower to perform most tasks, except for mining and farming.

Quarians: Slightly faster movement speed, increased melee dodge chance, increased ranged weapon accuracy, but reduced melee hit chance, slightly lower health, and a penalty to immunity gain speed. Suit provides some armor, as well as protecting against heat, cold, toxins, and fire, but Quarians are unable to use normal clothing and armor. Able to perform most tasks faster than others, particularly good at research, construction, and mining, but have reduced social impact due to the faceplates of their suits.

Salarians: Quick movement speed, perform all tasks faster, improved shooting accuracy, as well as increased melee hit and dodge chances. However, are more vulnerable to disease, toxins, and psychic energy, and have noticeably shorter lifespans.

Turians: Improved shooting accuracy, as well as having natural weapons (talons) and a tough hide. Able to read others well, making them more effective in social situations. Comfortable in the heat, but dislike the cold. Very picky about their food.

Vorcha: More of a nuisance than anything, the Vorcha breed fast, and die young. Highly resistant to disease, temperatures, and possess incredible regenerative abilities. It's said that a Vorcha can even regrow lost limbs given enough time. Mostly indifferent to comfort, surroundings, and food quality. Their lower intelligence makes it so they are slower to perform nearly any task, save basic manual labor, and their status in the galaxy at large means most races are dismissive of the Vorcha, for good or ill.

Non-Steam Version

Compatibility

Includes a patch for Combat Extended

Compatible with Save Our Ship 2

Compatible with Playable Geth

Patch to allow these races to use gear from Rim-Effect

Known Issues

Batarians are currently exempt from the WoundAnchor system because I can't figure out how to make it work with four eyed races. So they won't show Bionic or Archotech eyes, or show when they are blinded.

@Von Hoffenfloffen I checked the defs and found nothing that suggests they need specific things, are you trying to use the mod on 1.4? Because it is not compatible at the moment.

I have a Hanar guest that can't eat anything.
And i can't find any information except that they have a "unique biology"
Seems like she can only eat specific things but i need to know what exactly she can eat.

I highly recommend having some kind of info about that, cause right now I'm finding nothing.

But if it's simply a bug then sorry for the bad tone.

I haven't seen anyone else ask, so I figured I might as well bite the bullet and ask the annoying question. Are there plans to update this mod to 1.4? I greatly enjoy this mod, but I understand if updating it is too much of a pain.

any chance to get individual krogan and vorcha mods?

Hey so I was wondering is you could possibly make female krogan, Turians, etc, more common. Out of all my time using this mod, I have never once seen a female krogan, and only saw a female turian once.

Ah, alright. Sorry for misunderstanding. I adore the mod, this is the only issue I've had with it and as far as such things go, it's very minor. As such, I'll still make use of it regardless of the hiccup. I appreciate the mod itself and the work put into it. Have a wonderful day, my friend.

Sorry, that wasn't for you. That was for Tynan. Just venting frustration, nothing to worry about.
