When I played with Salty JDL, the AIs were set to the HARDEST setting, and this could explain why they switched me back to their enemy after I allied back with them after the trigger set them to my enemies.

As P1, I beat it with [Salty]JDL as P2 and ally, and with P3-P7 as enemy AIs, except for the Yellow AI who was my ally too. It took about 2 hours 17 minutes to beat the game with the "Blue, Red, Yellow" Victory trigger where P2 built a castle in place of Florus' castle and defeated P5 and P7. The teams weren't locked, but it seemed that everyone fought everyone else (except for me and P2 being allied with each other) anyway. For a little bit, Roman Egypt (the Orange Player) was allied with me when I switched him back to Ally as soon as the Trigger made him my enemy. But at some point he went back to being my enemy and attacked me. Salty JDL was a great Player. My starting towns got turned to rubble by the AIs and I had to make bases instead under the protective areas of Yellow and my red ally.

The MULTIPLAYER Settings are:
-----------------------------------------------
-You must pick "Reveal Map - Explored".
-Don't choose for the "Lock Teams" to be "On" because Vespasian starts allied with everyone.
-Do not use any Teams. Leave the teams all as "-" because there is a network of alliances and using Teams overrides it.

The Player Civs are:
Judean Provisional Government under Joseph Ben Gurion (P1): Byzantines
Vespasian (P2): Italians
Roman Egypt (P3): Italians
Peasantry Class/Simon Bar Giora (P4): Turks
The Zealots (P5): Persians
Florus/ Roman Province of Judea (P6 Purple): Italians
Sicarii (P7): Saracens

AWARE WOLF, I gave your scenario a "thumbs up" because I like the theme and there are alot of nice things about the scenario, like conquering cities when you build or convert an outpost. I beat it on Standard as Player 1 after a few days. So I want to give you a thorough review to point out potential problems, as well as to help players who need it. Due to space limits, I must break my review into multiple messages in 2 pages of comments (click on the "2" or right arrow at the bottom of the page to see my second page.

SETTINGS
---------------
You gave a good explanation of how to use the Dataset Mod: you subscribe to it and then choose it in the Standard Game menu and choose a Random Map, and then you go back and start the Scenario from that same Standard Game menu.

You must pick "Reveal Map - Explored", and you don't choose for the "Lock Teams" to be "On" because Vespasian starts allied with everyone.

Right now the Victory Trigger does not work for Player 1, so anyone playing as Player 1 must beat all the other Players to win (in effect, a 1 v. 6 match). This is too unbalanced for a decent Multiplayer Match, because Vespasian begins allied with all Players. Ideally, the Scenario Designer (Aware Wolf) would correct the triggers so that Players 1 and 4, or Players 1, 2, and 4 could win together as intended.

STORY
-----------
This Scenario should have more story to explain the teams. P1 is the Judean Provisional government. There was a historical period in the revolt where the Zealots claimed that the original rebel leaders in Jerusalem like Joseph Ben Gurion wanted to reconcile with Rome, and the Zealots in Jerusalem turned on the Provisional government. The Purple "Roman Province" is the local Roman rulership under Florus.

Player 1's leader heros are Eleazar ben Hananiah, by the Temple, and Joseph ben Gurion, fighting in the north. According to Wikipedia, Eleazar ben Hananiah and Joseph ben Gurion (grandson of Nicodemus in John's Gospel) were two leaders of the first Jewish Provisional Government that revolted from Rome. Their Provisional government also included the famous Jewish historian Josephus, and their government gave him the territory of Galilee to govern, where the Romans defeated him.

P2 is Vespasian, the Roman general. He begins allied with everyone. It is weird that one of his potential victory conditions is for Florus to die, since Vespasian and Florus were both on the Roman side and Vespasian did not try to kill Florus. It is also weird for him to be Allied with everyone because I think that he would not be allied with the Zealots or Sicari. The designer added in a trigger so that when Florus is defeated, the Jewish Players declare war on Rome, which I suppose means Vespasian.

P4 is the Peasantry Class. They have a side mission to control the Temple Mount and 8 relics and the Temple Mount, but this implies that they would need to fight the Judean Provisional Government. P4 gets an option for victory where P4 is allied with Blue and Red (the Provisional Government and Vespasian) to defeat Florus, the Zealots and the Sicarii. Their leaders in the Scenario are Jacob Ben Sosa and Shimon Bar Giora. Simon Bar Giora was actually a rebel leader who opposed the Judean Provisional government and was defeated by Vespasian, so it does not make much sense for him to be allied with Vespasian. Jacob Bar Sosa was an Idumean leader who was closely linked to Simon Bar Giora. Simon invited him to fight the Provisional government, and then Jacob bar Sosa wanted to surrender to Rome, so Simon imprisoned him. So on the other hand, it makes sense that Jacob bar Sosa's Player could have a mutual victory together with Rome.

P6 is the Roman Province of Judea. The Roman procurator Gessius Florus is its king unit. The implication is that Player 6 is the Roman rulership of Judea. It begins allied with everyone except for the Blue Player. It says that P6 gets a team victory with Red and Yellow if "all 4 Jewish Players" died. The 4 Jewish Players must be The Blue Player, the yellow peasants, the Zealots, and the Sicarii.

To match history, you would want all the Roman Players (Red, Purple, and Orange) to be allied with each other, and you would want the Zealots and Sicarii (Teal and Grey) to be the opposing team. The "Provisional government" and the Yellow Peasantry Player could be allied with either of those two sides or it could even be neutral. Their alliances seem more flexible. The Designer tried to address this by having the Yellow Player declare war on Blue or Red (Vespasian), depending on whether Grey or Purple (Florus) were defeated.

INSTRUCTIONS
-------------------
The Hints section talks about "the Jewish Player" paying taxes to Rome. This phrase, "the Jewish Player", actually refers to the Blue, Yellow, Aqua/Teal, and Grey Players, who all represent Jewish factions.

The Hints say that different towns pay taxes regularly. A Player is supposed to own or capture a town by converting or rebuilding an Outpost in the small area surrounded by torches in each town. The same is meant for the castles like Ashkelon with town names? You don't have to kill everything in the town to "conquer" it, you just need to own an outpost in the torch areas. You need to own an outpost in the town's torch area in order for that town's monastery to switch to you.
