Description
Avorion: 0.29.6 - 0.31.x
Allows cargo shuttles to transport more goods based on a shuttle material.

CAUTION: This mod is in early development stage. Stuff can break or be unbalanced, mod logic can change greatly with new versions. I need your feedback.

NOTE: This mod will be updated to the stable versions only. I'm not planning to support Beta-versions since they come out very often and I don't have the time to check and update mods every time.

Keep in mind:
  • All cargo shuttles that were bought or built before mod installation will be made out of Iron.

Features:
  • Now cargo shuttles have material trait that is based on the most common material in the area.
  • Material affects the amount of goods shuttle can transport (configurable). By default:
    Iron/Titanium = 1;
    Naonite/Trinium = 2;
    Xanion/Ogonite = 3;
    Avorion = 4
  • Alternative volume-based system can be activated via config, where cargo shuttle capacity is equal to [material capacity divided by good volume].
  • Allows to change vanilla 20 cargo shuttles per station limit via config
  • Fixes vanilla exploit where crew/cargo shuttle stats depended on design.
  • Fixes vanilla bug where cargo shuttles couldn't transport more than 5 volume.

Bug reporting:
  1. Tell your game version and list of mods you have activated.
  2. Give an instruction on how to reproduce a bug, step by step.
  3. Use Pastebin[pastebin.com] to attach links to your client and server logs.
    Client logs: C:\Users\YourProfileName\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\
    Server logs: C:\Users\YourProfileName\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\galaxies\GalaxyName\
  4. Make a screenshot if problem can be seen visually.

Config files locations:
Server - AppData/Roaming/Avorion/galaxies/(GalaxyName)/moddata/CargoShuttlesTweaks.lua

Max size capacity at the moment as far as i can tell seems to be at 8

Still? There was an update that increased the capacity - when designing cargo shuttle you need to max its size.

Ah, I have been away for a while. Thank you for the information. This looked like a very interesting mod, but failed to know about cargo space being added to Fighters.

Do you think I need to update it? Several patches ago devs made so fighter size equals its cargo bay size. I assumed that there is no point in the mod anymore.

Sorry i have problems to start or activate the mod. The reason is (basgame requirement 0.29.6 to 031. doesn´t match with version 1.0 of the game.

Time to update my cargo shuttles to biggest possible size then.

Then again I did start this week.
