Description
Welcome to Lake Amsvartnir, a map of medium difficulty. You will find enough flat land here to build a city, as well as some topographical challenges to make the gameplay more interesting. The map is inspired by a valley in Chile, but should also be suitable for many locations in the northern hemisphere.

Road connections: 4
Train connections: 3
Ship connections: 1
Plane Connections: 4

Trees: 390.000

If you want to build near the small river in the starting valley, don’t hesitate to demolish the shore lines. They are just cosmetic. There will be no dummy traffic in the starting tile.

Please make sure to subscribe to all the assets in the map collection, not only the required items on the right.

You can't judge a book by its cover. The map itself is one of the most beautiful in the workshop. But under the soil there are a lot of forgotten trash all over. Especially the start square has lots of them. I had to quit playing because you never know where the soil cracks and the city is flooded. I hope there will be some day a remade version of this one.

Can you make an more "vanilla" version of this map? I mean without tons of trees and no Network Extentions. I'm from chile and a map like this is AWESOME. But the required items will blow up my PC ;-;

@vilamno: the shape of the valley and mountains are true to the real-world original and to scale (as far as Cities allows). The rivers and lakes mainly as well. I made some adjustments to make the map more playable (the real location would allow for much less building space) and to allow for a ship path. The infrastructure is completely my design, as the original place is only scarcely inhabited. I hope that answers what you were asking for.

Is this 1:1 map?
