Ozhara's Mod Manager for AoE 2 HD

Description
Ever wanted to just use parts of a mod?
Ever wanted to combine parts of different mods or create mod setups for easy switching?
Ever wanted to check the exact changes of a mods graphic, sound or text file before using it?
Ever wanted to create your own mods with ease?
Ever wanted to organize your filter or reorder your mods more easily?
Ever wanted to easily apply automatic adjustments to graphic mods yourself?
Ever wanted to automatically play AoE with a set resolution again?
Ever wanted to get a large portion of the outdated legacy mods back to work?
Ever wanted to automatically fix your load order after a new patch?

Here it is - The AoE2 HD Mod Manager.

With this tool you can do all these things and some more.

For newest information (regarding next update for example^^), check Mod Managers discussion.

FUNCTIONALITIES / CHANGELOG:
For a better overview of the current functionalities Mod Manager offers, please take a look at the manual in my Mod Manager OneDrive folder[1drv.ms].

For the changelog, a shortened version is available through the Change notes in the upper right of this site, beneath the mods thumbnail image.

DOWNLOADING:
Mod Manager will download like a normal steam mod now, no external links anymore.

VERSION/CONTENT:
The current version of my reworked Mod Manager for games of version 4.0+ is 1.7.
It contains the basic and advanced state of Mod Manager that provide basic mod management (that is still very similar to the official ingame manager) as well as some advanced options like partial mod usage, automatic grid terrain creation, IA mod support or partial legacy mod usage.

Parts of the manual are still WIP and will be completed when all functionalities of advanced and expert state are implemented. It's also not proofread yet - this also makes much more sense after actually finalizing its content.
Same for the language file of the multilingual ui - their content isn't finished yet, so updating them makes no sense for now.

INSTALLATION AND UPDATE:
Mod manager is written in VB .Net, you need a Windows OS with .NET-Framework 4.5.2+ installed to use it!

There are some things important to know about mod manager, so please take a look at the manual before using it. You can take a look at it in my Mod Manager OneDrive folder[1drv.ms]

Different from the old versions no installer is used anymore, you just need the plain exe file as well as a few support files to run Mod Manager.

Just go to Mod Managers mod folder (you can open it from the ingame manager) and copy all files in a separate folder from where you want to use Mod Manager.

For there is no installer anymore, you don't get automatic menu entries anymore or a desktop short cut automatically for now. You also need to manually download .NET Framework 4.5.2+ in case you don't use it already.

Mod Manager will check if there is a newer version available in this mods subscription folder and update itself automatically on startup if needed after telling you it found a newer version.

LANGUAGE FILES:
(outdated for now until expert state is published)
Mod Managers ui is multilingual, to change the ui's texts to another language, just select the new language, download the fitting language file and restart mod manager.
Language files are seperated from ModManager so it doesn't need to be updated each time a new language is added or changed.
If you miss a language file, just tell me and I'll upload it as soon as someone translated the texts to that language.
So in case you (really) know a language that isn't supported up to now or that isn't translate completely and want to help, just tell me. :)

Available languages (the files available are the most actual ones at any time, so if you encounter some untranslated texts or such, please take a look, maybe there is a newer version available):
- english (gb)
- english (us)
- german
- hungarian
- portuguese (brazil)
- slovenian
- spanish

FEEDBACK:
In case you encounter an error, have a suggestion regarding the ui/functionalities or want some additional functionalities: Every feedback is welcome!
Just post it in the comments or Mod Managers discussion.

In case you want to add a screen or a longer text/error log (in error messages go on 'Details' to get the error log), please give me a shout in the comments and send me an email: aoe-modmanager@web.de

Since 0.9.0 there is an action/error log implemented. To get it and add it to your mail, just click the 'action log' button right beneath the AoE logo.

was "Ever wanted to combine parts of different mods or create mod setups for easy switching?" ever added for the current version or is it so far just dead? im trying to find a way to figure out how to be able to merge parts of a few mods into 1 but no matter where i look i cant find any info on this besides hints to this or people just straight up saying "use genie" but never saying how to do so

@halo44010: What you are trying to do (using multiple data sets at the same time) cannot work, and it is not what ModManager has been made for.
So before making unnecessarily rude posts, you might want to RTFM, it'll make you look less of a fool.

This software works just fine, if you use it for its intended purpose, which is managing and creating mods for existing data sets.

If you want to combine data sets, how about creating a tool yourself?
Or write a data set mod which contains population and farm size parameters.

Doesn't work. Followed instructions to the letter, and it just doesn't work. Launch the game via Steam and nothing of note changes, still can only use 1 mod per map. Try to launch it through the manager, and it says the aoe2hd exe is missing. Steam "validates" the file, but nothing happens.
Why? No idea, it just doesn't work.
All I wanna do is use the no pop limit mod with the small farms mod, but it won't let me use both of them together. Fix your shit.
