Blood in The Water - A Bloody Morning in June

Description
BLOOD IN THE WATER

H-Hour is upon us, the eyes of the world are set on a fifty-mile stretch of land on the northern French coast. Occupied by sinister enemy forces, the arduos journey into hell awaits every soldier and sailor that is caused to cross the English channel. Blood will be spilled. French waters will turn crimson red. The beach will be littered with bodies, the smell of gunpowder and metallic aromas will invade every mans nostrils until he is sick to his stomach. Men will shriek, cry, and fight. Many will not leave this beach. Many will not even step on it. Today is the Day of Days, and you're task to strike the beach. God be with you.

Hello everyone, here is my "sequel" to my other mission, "A Bloody Night in June". Now, I understand the previous mission has a lot of bugs, and that is due to IFA3 and CBA3 updates that I cannot fix on my own time currently, but I will work on it when I have the chance. The same thing may happen to this mission at some point, but I will keep this one updated as it goes along.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT FINISHED, I STILL WANT TO CREATE A CUSTOM ENDING CUTSCENE AND OTHER SMALL THINGS. DO NOT EXPECT A COMPLETE MISSION.

Some notes before you play the mission;
  • This mission is laggy. I average 30 frames on it. The reason for this is because I took a lot of time to recreate the beach, and add ambience that lags the mission. Cinematics over frames is the point of this mission, if you don't like dipping below 30 at times (how are you playing arma?) then don't play this mission.
  • I do not claim this to be an easy mission. One shot and you are dead, you have to be on your feet and analyzing you're enviornment. That being said, there is lots of cover and there are warnings for many small things that some people may not notice easily, so take that as you will.
  • I will not be making a COOP version, simply because it is too buggy to switch the mission over to COOP, and because a lot of my functions will not work in multiplayer.

Now, for everyone here i'd like to let you all know this is a cinematic, historical representation of Operation Overlord, and the beach landings at Fox Green. You don't have a crazy amount of clips, grenades, and you die easily. Don't expect to get this in the first try. This mission is meant to give a closer representation of what the beaches really looked like, and the amount of fire they came under. Granted, it's not going to represent it even %10 of what it's really like, but I feel the ArmA community deserves a mission that isn't just two bunkers on a hill. So have at it, rage and have fun!

I graciously accept the idea of using assault vests and helmets. This was a passion project to make a good D-Day mission centered around cinematic style of gameplay, so it will be laggy no matter what. I do appreciate the pointers!

Cant really play bcs it lags like hell for me; which is likely on my end for using a weak craptop

However i can only suggest for a more accurate loadout for the goons, by giving them gas mask bags and brassards (can either use the m1928 haversack with m7 variant or giving them the gas masks through glass/nvg slot)

Giving some assault vests and scrimmed helmets would look good too
