Note: This mod requires the Modular Encounters Spawner and the NPC Programming Extender mods to function properly.

If a small NPC mod with smaller-PCU designs is what you desire, this might be a good fit for you!

The Gnessali NPCs mod adds the cheap and mass-produced ships of the Gnessali Shipworks Company (GNSW) to your world! These simple, lightly armored ships come in a variety of lengths and classes and often spawn in pairs or groups. Be aware that most of the GNSW ships will call for assistance if approached and that some of the ships take advantage of the "randomize weapons" feature in the Modular Encounter Spawner, giving them access to whatever weapons mods you have loaded. The GNSW does start out as neutral, but that will not stop their drones from defending their convoys when provoked.

Vessels, Drones, and Encounters:

Gnessali Shipworks Vessels:
~ GNSW. Defense Relay Tower
~ GNSW. Torque Class Corvette
~ GNSW. Casius Class Corvette
~ GNSW. Myrr Class Torpedo Boat
~ GNSW. Armed Cargo Ship
~ GNSW. Gas Transport
~ GNSW. Supply Ship
~ GNSW. Corporate Escort 2
~ GNSW. Corporate Escort 1
~ GNSW. Ion Escort

Gnessali Shipworks Drones:
~ GNSW. Rocket Drone
~ GNSW. Gatling Drone
~ Atmo Hunter Mk.1-2***
~ Atmo Hunter Mk.1-1***
~ Atmo Drone Mk.1***

Encounter(s):
~ Encounter Gassy Wreck
~ Encounter Vacant Home
~ Old Wind Tower
~ Old Fuel Tower
~ Unknown Tower

Other:
~ (PAF-04B) Scissor-B Type Fighter
~ Dua Uumtak Class Corvette Mk.2
~ Small Cargo Skeeter Mk.2

* - Grids with known issues.
** - Grids considered for removal and/or replacement.
*** - Currently disabled grids.

Additional Ships and Drones will be added as time goes on. Any constructive feedback or suggestions that you can provide is appreciated!

A big thanks to Meridius_IX/Lucas for making the Modular Encounters Mod, without which this mod would never have been possible!

Have fun and remember to support the little guys on the workshop! ;D

I know the Meridius script well and I use it in some of my Mods, I just find it very limited for maneuvers.
The map that I test the mods on has all the mods installed to run scripts based on the "NPC Programming Extender".
More recently I have been using the "Whornet ASF" script, which worked very well until the last update.

Ah, I see! You'd probably be best using a different one if you want something more consistent, complex, and precise.

That fighter you mentioned was just added this week and I still need to add the "NPC Programming Extender" mod as a requirement, as that fighter's AI script needs it to target grids and do some other small stuff (not that it always works like it should...)

I am not a programmer anymore, I believe that the instructions that track the grids are missing.

I am always looking for scripts for my MODs and I was interested in yours.

I took a look at your Script 7.1, it's on the "(PAF-04B) Scissor-B Type Fighter" ship.
I did some tests on other ships and the effect is the same.

@Aggelus Well, mainly a lack of coding experience with C#, though if you don't mind me asking, what made someone with actually good npc mods bother to come check this one out? Just curious XD

Which npc(s) are you referring to? The scripts on some of them are a bit quirky atm due to my lack of coding experience, while others require the NPC programming extender to function properly (which I need to add as a requirement, derp me XD)

I disabled the option to locate the player, but the NPC does not seek the big ones to attack.
It just stands still.

Hello, I found your script very interesting, it seems more that it pays more attention to the Gps of the Player than to the Gps of the ships.
I think it should be the other way around, the player should be the last one to be sought.
This makes battles more interesting.
