This is a core vanilla mod that rebalances some vanilla dinos to make things a bit more dangerous and interesting. You will not find crazy, over the top creatures in this mod.

In Ark: Vanilla Enhanced, there are some major changes which is meant to enhance the fear, and fun factor of a vanilla play through experience.

1. Taming of flyers is, by default, disabled. You can enable individual flyer taming via INI codes. Each flyer can be found in the wild with varying levels of speed. When taming is enabled, each flyer can level up its speed, but depending on the flyer, some might level slower than others. For example, flyers that can glide like owls and griffins will have a slower speed leveling ramp than something like an argentavis. The only flyers enabled by default are Wyverns, and Rock Drakes. You can disable their wild egg laying via INI codes to prevent players taming these as well.

2. Large creatures such as Gigas, Rex, Spinos, Mosas, or Yutys have been completely reworked. They are now mini bosses, like a vanilla giga is. Meaning they are harder when wild and weaker when tamed. By default though, these dinos have their taming disabled. If taming is enabled, they will spawn in mate boosted pairs, making attacking them even more dangerous. In order to tame one of these creatures, you must get the female down to 10% health, at which time it will lay a fertilized egg. Steal this egg and hatch it to raise your own version of these dinos

3. Most all creatures with teeth or spikes cause a varying level of bleed damage. This can make engaging creatures more dangerous

4. Some herbivores are now passive tame only. While you do have to hand feed them in order to tame them, getting too close, or lingering too long will spook the dino, causing them to attack.

5. Tek dinos are like their normal counterparts but take less damage, and deal more damage out. They also drop tek style drops.

6. Wyvern attacks have been reworked with custom buffs applied to their breath attack. Poison wyverns now also have an acid breath, while ice wyverns can freeze targets. Electric wyverns can stun targets and have new breath visuals. Wyverns also have new colorsets to better reflect their elements.

7. Large carnivores are also particularly dangerous to keep around bases. If a large carnivores food reaches 0, this creature no longer trusts you. It will turn wild and began feeding on anything around it.

8. Large carnivores (except Gigas) can now break stone structures. Gigas can break Metal and Tek structures.

More work to come on this mod. Currently does not have corrupted or aberrant dinos. This is on my to do list. This mod is meant to be a vanilla alternative only. Not a crazy, over the top dino mod. See the INI discussion for current INI values.

I've read in the omega mod you open sourced this mod ? Do you have it on a github somewhere ? I was hoping to find the files to learn about the piggyback method to spawn in special mod dinos on the spawners.

OK i found a single yuty but that's it, no spinos, Rex's and gigas spawn at all and i cant use a spawner cause idk the ID for them sadly

and when it says mini boss, does it leave spino, Rex, giga etc with same hp as before like a normal vanilla counterpart or do they actually have boosted hp, if its just normal hp than im not up for using this. . .

Can I get a list or can you post a link to the actual spawn names for dinos - wanted to turn off some spawns - but noticed a lot of stuff has AVE as a prefix and hild at the end. Not sure what is different - pleas help.
