Description
Introduction
The primary purpose of this mod is to further complement Project Opfor and RHS packs to allow 3CB mission makers, and the wider community, to add extra units, vehicles, and weapons to their missions

@Aamuetana: I am not sure what is causing that, but it is likely a conflict. I would suggest that you first run the mod with just the requirement - i.e. cba_a3 and the RHS mods. See if the issue persists. If the units load with kit / ammo with just those requirements, then the issue is likely a mod conflict with something else you are running in your repo.

Me and my friend are having the same problem with loadouts and ammo. When we start, all units including us, spawn with empty loadout. What could be causing this? This doesn't happen with RHS units and other factions.

@Citadel: Hey, thanks for the offer. It is appreciated. However the config isn't what takes the time really. It is making the textures that takes the time, especially for those RHS items (kit, vehicles etc...) that I don't have access to. It is a lot of adjusting, building, and checking game! That really eats into the free time. The config for the factions are structured in a way that means I largely just need to change the Faction name / faction three letter identifier (i.e. _ANP_, _ANA_ etc...) and then add new classnames for uniforms, weapons, backpacks, helmets into the array that randomizes the loadouts. It's pretty efficient. If it isn't the textures taking up my time, it is porting new vehicle models.

Btw, who is your group out of interest?

Excited to hear that's what's in the works. Did you need an extra config worker? My group uses your mod a lot, and if you wanted a few hours of donated work, I'm confident my mod-making team and I would love to help out. We've been making our own stuff for a little while now, and we know how much just a few extra hands can help.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you like. Rather than any PMC units, current focus is on creating a Fictional African Army, Paramilitary, Militia, African Islamist Militia, Police and Civilians based loosely on a combination of Nigeria and Chad. Also, I am doing an AAF armed with modern weapons / equipment and vehicles rather than 2035. I am also fixing a ton of errors, improving a myriad of things, and adding one or two new vehicles and weapons.

As for Faction classnames (I think that is what you are referring to when you say 'script') if you check the https://3cbmod.wordpress.com/released-mods/3cb-factions/ mentioned above, you'll find the Factions and unit classes you might need for ALIVE.

Awesome mod by the way ! I wanted so much to play in Takistan in a more post-2012 vibe (after operation arrowhead) and in a more arma 3 perspective (2020-2035).

I would recommand in the future to add a ION PMC factions, since after the 2012 war the PMC had take more place in the country.

It is also said that after 2012 when Aziz's regime fell, even if the socialist/nationalist takistani army had surrender, that a civil war continued because the republican militia and takistani deserters regrouped to lead a guerilla against NATO's occupation and the New Takistani Army. At the same time tribal fighters (islamist/monarchist) revoked their support to NATO and did the same.

It is not so clear which ones of the factions represent the Republican militia/Taskistani deserters which are still fighting to bring again independance and socialism to the country. Maybe the Opfor Insurgents ?

I have 2 questions :

1) Is this mod compatible with ALIVE ?

2) If it is, what is the script for each faction to enter in the data of ALIVE ? By example, I would like to make a IA-ALIVE operated base of opfor or blufor takistani army.

Proposition : Maybe do like the Community Faction Project on their steam page and add each script beside each associated faction. It would be very useful if the mod is compatible with ALIVE.
