Clown Fish Ship

Description
(100% Vanilla, No MODs)

Clown Fish Ship, (Small grid ship)

This little gem is modelled after the adorable Clown Fish (one of my favorite and popularly known as Nemo!) and sports moving fins on the sides and tail as you steer (I even have a timer block set to turn automatic fin movement on/off.) I spent many hours building this model after real Clown Fishes so as to make it as realistic as possible, given the limitations of vanilla blocks.

The Mouth is partially open and you can peer into it and get into the Main cockpit that is located inside to fly the ship! You can use 3rd person view to drive or peer through the mouth opening for fun!

Both fish eyes are passenger seats to carry your friends along!

The Nostrils are spotlight headlamps and access to the storage is just below that. There is an ejector connected to the conveyor system and is located in the fish's usual spot for ejecting waste, lol!

Note: All engines are internal and placed to prevent thruster damage. I briefly tested the ship in survival and it was free of thruster damage and clang during the tests.

lol Lord Tridax! Space is a big place to look for your wayward son ;)
I was thinking along those lines though, look for it in the description when the blueprint comes out.

People may say this is useless, but someone back in the day made a 200m long articulated space shark, so obviously what more to do than get the whole cast so Bruce doesn't get left alone without foo-I-mean-friends?

He will find its son.

And nothing in the big black universe will get in his way...

Just wait until it teams up with a regal blue tang ship.

@ZeroDevil, Thank you! Yes, it did take a while.

The timer block just makes the fins move ambiently.

If you want the fins to move according to your control of the ship, just leave the ambient movements turned off.

I havent gotten into scripting yet and would have no idea how to make the side fins flap as you steer either left or right.

For my purposes, I feel the behavior is pretty good, all considered. (non-ambient mode)

I find that playing around driving the vessel you can learn to make it behave more lile-like by the way you control it; with such practice you can wow your friends when they see a relatively life-like clown fish waggle its way into view ;)

The cockpits for eyes, and the articulated tail are nice.

As goes the fins, do they have a computer with a code in it to assist in fin turning, or is it strictly just timer blocks? If so, how do you get the timer blocks to respond to key input, or fish movement if no computer block is used to trigger them?

Anyway, nice build either way. It must have taken a while to get it looking so lifelike.

Odd fact; Clownfish, IRL, are sequential hermaphrodites. All Clownfish are born male, and live in groups inside sea anemonies, but one clownfish can become female (like a sort of second puberty) if a female is absent in the group.

lol, well, it is rather a novelty i suppose ;)

But who could argue with being blown up in anything more fitting. Yes, when I go out of this universe, I want it to be in a genuine clown fish ship! Haha!
