The legacy lives on from Ash's 33 New Skills for Warhammer 1.

What Does It Do?
This mod aims to boost your lord and legendary lords as their advance in level to make them feel more like a warlord on the battlefield. You can boost the range and damage on your missile infantry, or why not even your artillery while at it, It can also boost the armor value of your lord and it's army + lower it's army upkeep. Fighting battles might not be your thing? Don't worry, there is also province skills such as increased tax rate for example.

This mod also features some campaign skills, increase diplomacy with other factions, increased research rate of your technologies, campaign movement range, reinforcement range to mention a few.

Keep in mind that while your lord increase in level and become stronger also the AIs lords will also have access to these skills and they will use them too. So while you become a greater threat towards your enemies, your enemies becomes a greater threat towards you.

I HIGHLY recommend to use this mod together with a mod that increases the amount of skill points you earn per level.

I'm not the creator of this mod, all I'm doing is to keep this mod updated with new patches/dlcs and making it compatible with some mods. Credits to Ash who is the original author and Fatalis who kept it updated before me.


FAQs

Q: Does this mod work in Mortal Empires?
A: Yes, this mod works for both Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires

Q: Which lords have access to these skills?
A: All of them should have access to these skills. All legendary lords, technology lords and normal lords from all factions.

Q: Does the hero's have access to these skills?
A: No.

Q: Will you make a mod that adds more skills?
A: As of now the answer is no. I don't really have that much modding experience to pull such thing off sadly.

Q: What If I find a lord that does not have the skills from this mod?
A: If it's a newly added lord from one of the mods below that I've missed or If I have missed a lord from the base game then just let me know in the comment section of which lord and possible with mod the lord is from and I will try to get it sorted out asap.

Q: Can you make 33 skills compatible with the lords from [insert mod that has lords]?
A: It depends, nothing is impossible. Do not hesitate to ask, I will always look into the mods that are requested to become compatible, I might not do it right away but it just might happen.

Q: What If i only want to use the 33 skills but I don't want to use any of the mods that are compatible?
A: Fear not. This mod works on it's own. If you only want to have this mod plus one of the mods below or just this mod and SFO for example, it's no problem.

Q: Does it work with SFO?
A: Yes, it should not have any conflicts with SFO. Some lords might be missing their skills from SFO since It's hard to keep track on all new lords being added, if that is the case how ever just make a comment here and I'll get to it once I'll update the mod again.



Q: The update created complications with my playthrough, is there anything that can be done?
A: Perhaps, It really is depending on each individual case. But the best I can do is to use the previous mod version which can be found here.

Just download the file below and place it in your data folder (path below) then activate it in the mod manager if needed.

Known Issues
Due to CA having some issues with their launcher or something some people experience that this mod is not updated and that x lord is missing the skills. If the mod has been updated after a DLC release I can assure that x lord has the skills from this mod, if you are one that has this kind of problem then please try to delete the mod from your mod folder (ex: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\594570\1404317310) and un-subscribe and re-subscribe to the mod again to force it to download the newest version of it.

If you run into any other issues about the mod or if one of the compatible mods has gained some new lords then let me know in the comments and I'll get to it once I get some spare time. Even if you don't see me replying I will be reading through the comment section from my own last post to the last post made by anyone else. I can't guarantee that I'll update the mod quickly, usually when a new DLC or Expansion released then I'll be around to update it and adding additional lords that the compatible mods have added and such, within this time window I will most likely be adding lords from requested mods in the comment section. Some week after a release period up to next release I'll just be semi-lurking.

@ArahorPlays tested this mod today and it still works and save game compatible! Also I know it's been almost 3 years since you updated the mod so I'm not sure if you still play TWW2, but thought I'd ask if you would have the time to make it compatible with this mod that adds an amazing lord to the high elves, it's called "The Dragon Queen - Version 2" by Typher

Vampire skill Air Superiority doesn't work properly. It says it adds 5/10/15 to flying damage, the tables instead show it multiplying damage by 1.05, it also doesn't work on the ROR vargheist at all because it's set to vmp_unit_vargheist instead of vmp_vargheists. Similarly Death from Above is adding a percentage to charge instead of a fixed value despite displaying a fixed increase meaning a full three points gives less bonus to a vargheist than a single point in the creatures of the night skill.

Dread should add Fear in addition to Terror otherwise you get the odd situation of lords causing Terror but not fear if they don't have a terror causing mount.

Resistant could be simplified by replacing everything with the equivalent standard ward save. Does the same thing, doesn't give overlapping bonuses (no 45% unintended bonus against a flaming, magical, arrow for instance), and doesn't clutter the icon display as much.

@kiltwearer3 - while probably not exactly what you're after, I am trying to get these skills onto the heroes too. Admittedly not all the skills but some of them. Also been tweaking a few existing skills so some stuff miiiight be OP.

My issue at the moment is a certain hero or set of heroes causes desyncs in multiplayer so I'm trying to locate the culprit and once that's sorted, I'll get this published. Desync testing is a pain though because it requires my friends to be available. Hence the delay

I know this will likely be unread or considered for WH 3, but I'd love to have something like this for the heros in your army since they can be left behind quiet easily.

This mod is quite horridly balanced, it's nice to have more options in building a character but most of these options are easily at least 10x as stronger then normal non-unique options, would not recommend this unless one wants to start steamrolling real easy.
