Playable Titan Armor is a mod that as it says, adds playable Titan Armors.

The Titan Armor is a mix of the XCom EU style armor and some upgrades. After you kill and Autopsy an Andromedon, you'll unlock Powered Assault Armor Tech. You will still need to unlock and research Powered Armor and Elerium Tech before you can Build this armor. The Titan Armor has 2 versions and they are single build armors. The Titan Armor is meant to be a Powered Armor that can take a beating an give Immunities to most everything.



Titan Armor:
Autopsy: Andromedon
Techs needed: Elerium Tech, Powered Armor, Assault Powered Armor
To build (1): Supplies=100, AlienAlloy=20, EleriumDust=5, EleriumCore=1
HP=8, Armor=3
Special Ability= (Titan Strike) TITANSTRIKE_BASEDAMAGE=(Damage=6, Spread = 0, PlusOne = 50, Crit = 1, Pierce = 0, Shred=1, Tag = "", DamageType="Melee")
TITANSTRIKE_RADIUS = 4


Grand Titan Armor:
Autopsy: Andromedon
Techs needed: Elerium Tech, Powered Armor, Assault Powered Armor
To build (UPGRADE TO TITAN ARMOR): TitanArmor (needed)=1, AlienAlloy=20, EleriumCore=1
HP=10, Armor=4
Special Abilitys= (Grand Titan Strike) GRAND_TITANSTRIKE_BASEDAMAGE=(Damage=8, Spread = 0, PlusOne = 50, Crit = 2, Pierce = 0, Shred=1, Tag = "", DamageType="Melee")
TITANSTRIKE_RADIUS = 6

Grand Titan Armor also has HighCoverGenerator


Both Titan Strike and Grand Titan Strike do environmental damage so be mindful of vehicles and explosive tanks :)

Both Titan Strike and Grand Titan Strike have 2 charges and when used are a FREE ACTION. So if you have a large group of enemies or lost, you can run in, strike, kill and damage as many as possable. Then go right into using your weapons. Perfect way to thin the Lost and then go right into head shots on the rest ;)

Immunities:
Much like in XCom EU, the Titan/GrandTitan (upgrade) have immunities to...
Fire
Poison
Chryssalid Poison.

Also (because of these being built from the Andromedon) Autopsy...
Immunity to Acid.

For those using Bio Beasts mod and the new Radiation Poisoning...
Immune to Elerium Poisoning.

NOT IMMUNE TO:
Stun, Blind, Bind or Mental attacks.

FINAL NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Titan Armor WILL auto equip a new version of the Andromedon Helm when you first equip one. You can take this off if you wish. For my headcannon, these are meant to be sealed armors for a reason ;) Remove if you dont like them.

Great addition. Used it in my last campaign alongside the Heavy Gunner class. Major Bob Ross was a bad ass.

sorry I miss communicated, I know the armor has specs, I was wondering if there was a way to put them on to a custom soldier and then customize the soldier back to their original look, but also keep the armors benefits.

e.g. I am able put the armor on to a custom soldier on the load out screen, but when I go to customize my soldier mostly only the Titan/grand titan parts are available.

I have a Halo Master Chief, I able to put on the Titan armor fine, but I can't customize all of his MJOLNIR armor in place.

THIS IS NOT COSMETIC and can be used on any normal soldier. If you want custom classes that are not set as "soldier" to use it, youll have to add those to XComClassData as so [XComGame.X2SoldierClass_DefaultClasses]

is it possible to make this opposite to cosmetic only?

i.e. allow it to be used on custom soldiers and they are able to keep their original look.

I am looking at the 'XComArmorContent .ini' and am wondering if that is the "persistent change effect" that I need to change?

You're right! XCOM EU/EW Ports: Tier 3 Helmets and Armour [ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125421345 ] has Titan armor as well (and that one is cosmetic) so I've mistaken the two mods. Sorry for the confusion!
