A mod that replaces core packages of the game in order to make the game more moddable and mod-compatible, as well as fixing some bugs.

As implied by the name, only one mod at a time can replace core packages. Hence, the X2WOTCCommunityHighlander tries to address as many use cases as possible, without changing the behavior of the game unless other mods make use of its features.

The full list of changes can be found here[github.com].

How do I use the Highlander?

Enable the mod as per normal, and check if the Highlander's name + version appears in the lower right corner.

A page with troubleshooting advice can be found here[github.com].

We accept contributions[github.com] and issue reports[github.com] through the GitHub page[github.com]. Please follow the troubleshooting steps first.

Thank you for using the Highlander. Our objective is to support all modders to be all they can be, so if you have suggestions please let us know. The Highlander will try to preserve vanilla behaviour as much as possible besides literal bugfixes; behavioral changes will have to be gated behind configuration or runtime flags.

If this mod also causes crashes to someone, then try to download it from "GitHub" and install "XCOM 2 \ XCom2-WarOfTheChosen \ XComGame \ Mods" along this path. So I also deleted two folders in the documents, "XCOM2" and "XCOM2 War of the Chosen". Note that in these folders the keeper is all your settings and save the game.
P.S. As I understand, this problem is related to the steam workshop or perhaps in some cases the mod should be located directly in the game folder itself, so if you are not too lazy you can try to transfer the mod that you downloaded from the workshop to the mods folder the path to which I indicated above.
It is also possible that this error is caused by the fact that all my DLCs are received in a way that is not entirely fair. But I’m not really sure about that since there wasn’t such a problem with other mods.
P.P.S. Sorry if the text is poorly written or difficult to understand, just to translate it into English, I used Google translate.

I understand correctly that at the moment the mod does not work? Since I personally, he causes the crash of the game, even if it is running alone.

@Dragon32 Can't seem to get it working, even after trying out the options you listed below.
Could you help me out, or tell me where to look for help?
